The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect after a long day exploring Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. From check-in to checkout, everything felt thoughtfully done. This place is a hidden gem in Orlando. I’d 10/10 recommend it and will definitely be returning. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a great home base for your Orlando adventure.
Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive
First night of stay, no housekeeping came by—kind of surprising. But on the second day, they did come around, and even though I didn’t tip, it still felt a bit odd. The back entrance of the hotel leads directly to the Universal Studios shuttle stop—just ask where to board, as it’s not exactly at the front door. It’s located near the private parking lot, which is easy to find. Across the street, there’s a Red Lobster that’s surprisingly affordable—no need to tip, free bread is served with meals, and soda refills are completely free. Haha, that’s a nice bonus! The room rates fluctuate quite a bit—I checked the price the day before check-in, saw it was around $600, so I canceled and rebooked right away to lock in that deal. One downside: the windows face the street, so some traffic noise can be heard. I mentioned this to front desk staff, and they moved the window slightly inward toward the quieter side (away from the bus drop-off), which helped a lot. Also, most rooms are connecting rooms, so you can hear your neighbors talking—something to keep in mind if you value quiet. Overall, despite minor quirks, the location, value, and convenience make this a solid choice for travelers visiting Orlando.

The property itself has great amenities for both adults and kids, so we were entertained right on-site. I also appreciated having on-site laundry machines and dryers—perfect for longer stays or when you’re traveling light. Everything about this hotel feels thoughtfully designed: clean, modern, and super convenient. If you're planning a Universal vacation, this is hands-down one of the best places to stay. You get the full experience without the hassle.

With a group of 10 people waiting to order, we ended up standing in line for about 20 minutes. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to start your day on time. That said, the overall experience was still excellent—great location, clean rooms, and a good balance between comfort and value. A little tweak to the breakfast process would make this already great hotel even better.
