I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience at Hotel Sono IDrive District despite a slightly higher resort fee than what was listed on the platform. This might be one of the most thoughtfully renovated motel rooms I’ve stayed in—especially the bathroom, which felt modern and very well designed. The housekeeping was excellent too, with clean linens and a tidy space every time I returned. One minor downside was the noisy AC unit, but it didn’t disrupt my sleep too much. It also felt odd that the platform showed the hotel as fully booked when the property looked only 15–25% occupied. Location-wise, this place is unbeatable—everything you need is within walking distance: grocery stores, brunch spots, dinner options, and fast food joints. Plus, they offered a 20% discount at the nearby Denny’s, which was a nice bonus. If you’re visiting Orlando and want a quiet yet convenient base near attractions, this hotel delivers. Great value for the price, especially with the local perks.
