The room was clean and well-maintained, with timely housekeeping service. However, the soundproofing isn’t very effective—noise from neighboring rooms or even footsteps above and below could be heard clearly. There was also a lingering smoke smell coming through the windows, which was quite noticeable despite keeping the fan on high. Additionally, the hairdryer was outdated, still using an old-style, bulky model that’s rarely seen in modern hotels anymore. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel offers excellent value for money, especially for travelers looking for convenience and affordability near the train station.

This was our first trip to Shenyang with friends, and we initially booked a hostel that unfortunately couldn’t accommodate us. Thankfully, the platform quickly rebooked us into three superior twin rooms and even covered the price difference—such a relief! While we had to skip visiting the Forbidden City and Zhang Zuolin’s Former Residence, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise—we ended up staying at this amazing hotel instead. The rooms were spotless, modern, and warmly heated, with fantastic city views from the windows. I was pleasantly surprised to find Chinese brand toothpaste—very nostalgic! Water pressure in the shower was perfect, not too strong or weak, and the bathroom had zero unpleasant odors. The laundry room worked really well, and I appreciated the thoughtfully placed travel tips right by the elevator—super helpful for planning our days. The only minor downside? Waiting for the elevator took a bit longer than expected. But overall, the experience was outstanding—great value, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

When I found the new room was too cold, they brought over a portable heater right away—such a thoughtful touch! My child needed to print homework last minute, and they happily helped with that too. Yes, the hotel has seen better days and does feel a bit dated overall, but it’s clean and well-maintained. The 6th floor has been recently renovated, which makes a big difference in comfort. Room options are limited—only queen-size beds and family rooms available. But the breakfast buffet? Absolutely outstanding. Plenty of fresh options, great variety, and very satisfying. Definitely worth trying—check out the photos! If you’re visiting Shenyang, this place offers excellent value and genuine hospitality.

We stayed for three nights with my parents, and this trip to Shenyang turned into a cherished memory. The staff went above and beyond—every time we forgot our key downstairs (especially after midnight trips to grab the new spicy chicken feet stall just 20 meters away—only 5 yuan each and absolutely delicious!), they were always happy to help. They also gave excellent recommendations on local eats and nearby attractions. The location is unbeatable: right next to Dong Zhongjie Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Central Park, Shenyang Imperial Palace, Zhang Zuolin’s Former Residence, and Zhao Yidi’s Old House—all within walking distance. We even booked a guided tour package that included access to these sites, which was an incredible value. On-site, there’s a convenience store, noodle shop, cold noodles, and the huge Joy City mall—perfect for dining and shopping. We had a fantastic dinner at Haidilao Hot Pot (a first visit for my parents—they loved it!). In the evening, we caught the “Phantom Realm” circus show (just 49 yuan per person), which lasted nearly an hour and was visually stunning. Afterward, we enjoyed a free musical fountain display that rivaled anything I’ve seen in Dalian’s Xinghai Square. Every detail made this stay unforgettable. This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s the heart of an amazing experience.
