The bar staff were arrogant and completely dismissive, taking ages to serve even simple drinks with no courtesy. Management seemed indifferent—no apology, no effort to resolve issues. It felt like the place had gone downhill fast. I can’t imagine returning or recommending it to anyone. This is not the Britannia Hotel I once knew. A real shame.

However, I spotted a cockroach in the morning, which was quite disappointing and took away from the overall experience. Cleanliness is definitely something that could be improved. That said, if you're just passing through and don't mind basic amenities, this place offers a solid value for the price. It’s conveniently located near public transport, so getting around town is easy. A few upgrades in housekeeping would go a long way in boosting guest satisfaction.

However, during our stay, we noticed black mold in the shower and stains on the sheets—definitely not what we expected from a place that claims to be clean and well-maintained. We had to visit reception three separate times just to request bath towels, which was frustrating. Also, if you're staying here, definitely ask for a room facing away from Florida Road—music from the nearby club played loud into the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. While the location and overall price point are strong, the lack of attention to cleanliness and noise control really impacted our experience. Would recommend it only if you can get a quieter room and don’t mind dealing with some maintenance issues.

I’d definitely consider returning and hope they can install a backup power system in the future.
