This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Right in the heart of Durban, it's just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and all the local attractions. The Grange Gardens Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, and the security team made me feel safe throughout my stay. The room was spotless and well-organized, with a thoughtful touch like the in-room fridge—perfect for keeping drinks cool. I especially appreciated the hairdryer in the bathroom; it worked great and added so much convenience. The location is fantastic—quiet yet close to shopping centers, and the view from the window was absolutely beautiful. I felt right at home and would definitely book here again when I return to Durban. A truly memorable stay!

Lembali Lodge truly lives up to its reputation—every single detail was thoughtfully done. I’d absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. It’s just a 10-minute walk or ride from almost everything in Durban, yet it feels peaceful and tucked away from the city bustle. The hospitality from Elliot made all the difference—warm, genuine, and attentive. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh, delicious, and served with care. I absolutely recommend this gem to anyone visiting Durban! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The hosts went above and beyond—offering local tips, helping with business travel logistics, and even making sure my morning coffee was ready. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with a peaceful atmosphere perfect for both relaxation and work. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, featuring homemade treats and local flavors. I’ve already told my colleagues about it, and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in Durban for business. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience.

This visit was truly disappointing. I’ve been coming to this hotel for years and always enjoyed the excellent food and service, but this recent experience was a complete letdown. The bar staff were arrogant and completely dismissive, taking ages to serve even simple drinks with no courtesy. Management seemed indifferent—no apology, no effort to resolve issues. It felt like the place had gone downhill fast. I can’t imagine returning or recommending it to anyone. This is not the Britannia Hotel I once knew. A real shame.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Durban. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned—every corner felt fresh and welcoming. The location is unbeatable; it's just a short walk from the city center, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring local attractions. I especially appreciated how close everything was without having to rely on transportation. The staff were warm and helpful, adding a personal touch to the experience. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or as a family, this place offers comfort, convenience, and great value. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

I absolutely loved my stay at Emakhosini Hotel on East! The hotel offers ample parking, which was a big plus for me. It’s incredibly clean throughout, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming—always ready to help with a smile. Location-wise, it’s super convenient; I was just a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and other local amenities. Everything I needed was close by, making my trip stress-free and enjoyable. This place truly delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. Definitely a top pick if you're visiting Durban—I’ll be back!

It was a decent option for a one-night stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel at ease right from check-in. The bed was comfortable and spacious—perfect for a good night's rest. However, I spotted a cockroach in the morning, which was quite disappointing and took away from the overall experience. Cleanliness is definitely something that could be improved. That said, if you're just passing through and don't mind basic amenities, this place offers a solid value for the price. It’s conveniently located near public transport, so getting around town is easy. A few upgrades in housekeeping would go a long way in boosting guest satisfaction.

The Benjamin ApartHotel is well located and offers good value for money, especially if you're looking to explore Durban on foot. The neighborhood is vibrant and close to local attractions. However, during our stay, we noticed black mold in the shower and stains on the sheets—definitely not what we expected from a place that claims to be clean and well-maintained. We had to visit reception three separate times just to request bath towels, which was frustrating. Also, if you're staying here, definitely ask for a room facing away from Florida Road—music from the nearby club played loud into the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. While the location and overall price point are strong, the lack of attention to cleanliness and noise control really impacted our experience. Would recommend it only if you can get a quieter room and don’t mind dealing with some maintenance issues.

My stay at Essenwood House was generally enjoyable. The location is convenient, the surroundings are peaceful, and the room was clean and well-maintained. I did experience some load shedding during my visit, which would have been less stressful if there had been a backup generator—though I appreciate the staff’s efforts to manage the situation. Despite that minor inconvenience, the hospitality and overall atmosphere made up for it. The property offers great value for money, especially for travelers looking for a quiet retreat in Durban. I’d definitely consider returning and hope they can install a backup power system in the future.
