InterContinental Sydney Double Bay

Absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Circular Quay and easy access to ferries that take you to all the major attractions around Sydney Harbour. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly helpful, offering great tips and even helping us plan our ferry itinerary. It made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had stunning views of the harbour. Everything from the service to the amenities exceeded expectations. This place offers exceptional value for money and truly delivers on luxury. I’d definitely book here again when I return to Sydney.

With so many restaurants and cafes nearby, there’s no need to go far for a good meal. Everything from transport to amenities is well thought out. Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour

The Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour truly exceeded my expectations. The facilities are top-notch, and the service was professional and welcoming throughout our stay. I’d recommend booking breakfast in advance—especially during peak times—as it tends to fill up quickly. While the pool is on the smaller side, it’s perfectly suitable for a quick swim after a day exploring the city. Located right in the heart of Sydney, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around by train or on foot. Everything from the room comfort to the staff’s attentiveness made this stay unforgettable. A fantastic choice for travelers who value location, quality, and value—all in one.

Quest North Sydney

I booked a 7-night stay at Quest North Sydney for the Sydney Marathon, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The hotel is located just a short walk from the race start line, making everything super convenient. It’s also only a 5-6 minute stroll to Victoria Cross Metro Station, which makes getting around the city effortless. I stayed in a studio with a small kitchenette—compact but fully equipped. I was able to cook everything from simple Western meals to quick Chinese stir-fries and snacks. Housekeeping came by every 1-2 days, keeping the room clean and tidy. The soundproofing is decent, so no noise from neighbouring rooms during the night. The only downside? The bathroom is quite small, and the shower has only a fixed showerhead without a handheld attachment, which made rinsing a bit awkward. A handheld sprayer or even a toaster oven instead of a microwave would’ve been a nice upgrade. Overall, though, this place offers great value, especially for longer stays or event-goers. Highly recommend.

Quest St Leonards

The hotel is incredibly convenient to reach by train—just a short walk from the station, making access effortless. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality: they happily accommodated an early check-in and even stored my luggage after checkout, which was a huge help for my travel schedule. The room itself is thoughtfully furnished with modern touches and includes a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing light meals or snacks. It’s rare to find such comfort, convenience, and thoughtful service in one place. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.

Hotel Challis Potts Point

I recently visited Sydney solo and stayed at Hotel Challis Potts Point — and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The room size is perfect for one or two guests, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly quiet and peaceful, which made it an ideal retreat after a day of exploring. The ambiance and surroundings are exactly what many Korean travelers would fall in love with—calm, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The only minor downside? It’s a bit further from the Opera House and main shopping streets. But if you enjoy walking, the area is well-connected with scenic pathways, greenery, and plenty of local charm along the way. It’s actually a great opportunity to stretch your legs while soaking in the city vibe. All in all, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.

Adge Hotel & Residence

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional—staff were friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. The room was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing made it incredibly quiet, so I got a really restful night’s sleep. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a 4-stop train ride from the airport, then a quick walk to the property. Everything in the city center is within a 10–15 minute stroll—great for exploring on foot. Whether you’re here for sightseeing, dining, or just relaxing, everything is super accessible. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, easily fit my needs even with extra luggage. Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. If you’re visiting Sydney, this is definitely a top pick. I’ll be back!

No9 Springfield

Staying at No9 Springfield was an absolute breeze thanks to its incredible proximity to the metro station. Just a short walk away, I could easily access all parts of Sydney without any hassle. The location is quiet and secure, yet still within reach of everything you need. The 24-hour front desk added to the peace of mind, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. Great value for money, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for convenience and comfort in Sydney.

Orange Stay Apartments Potts Point

Staying at Orange Stay Apartments Potts Point was a solid choice, especially for the location. The building is just steps away from King Cross Metro station, with a bus stop right outside—perfect for getting around Sydney. The area itself is vibrant, packed with diverse restaurants, local markets, and shops, making daily life super convenient. The apartment had a smart access system with magnetic key cards for both the main door and elevator. We were in a two-bedroom unit: the larger bedroom had a built-in wardrobe and a private balcony—great for relaxing. However, the second bedroom wasn’t ideal; it was separated from the living area by a partial wall that didn’t reach the ceiling, and there was only one narrow shelf for clothes. Plus, it faced a very noisy street, so we had to keep the window closed most of the time. The open-plan living-dining area included a full kitchenette, and the bathroom came with a shower. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. Cleaning was done weekly, and while not daily, they provided essentials like toiletries, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Since there’s no front desk, we coordinated our check-in time directly with the onsite manager who gave us his contact number. For checkout, we simply left the keys inside the unit and walked out—no hassle at all. The rate was the highest among all my accommodations in Australia, but considering Sydney’s premium pricing and prime location, it felt justified. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you value convenience, great transport links, and a central base in a lively neighborhood.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. Located just minutes from public transit, getting into central Sydney is quick and easy. There are plenty of dining options and local attractions nearby, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel—it’s a great value and truly delivers on comfort and convenience.

Staying at 202 Elizabeth Hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a comfortable stay without feeling cramped. Located just steps away from the metro station, getting around Sydney was incredibly convenient, whether heading to the CBD, Opera House, or Harbour Bridge. The staff went above and beyond with friendly, genuine service—always ready to help with local tips or recommendations. It’s clear this place values guest comfort and satisfaction. With its unbeatable location, cleanliness, and warm hospitality, it’s a standout choice for travelers looking for a relaxed yet vibrant base in Sydney. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney

Staying at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sydney. The views from the room were breathtaking—direct sightlines to the harbor and the iconic Opera House, especially stunning during sunset. The apartment-style rooms are spacious and well-designed, perfect for families or longer stays. I appreciated having a washing machine in the unit, which made packing light much easier. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—just a short walk to the city center, the Opera House, and Harbour Bridge. It truly lives up to the dream of what Sydney should be. The only minor downside is the parking cost, which can be quite high if you're not careful—make sure you don't accidentally enter Wilson Parking, as rates there can add up quickly. Overall, the experience was excellent, and with such a prime location and great amenities, the value still shines through. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney.
