While not right in the heart of the city, the location is still very convenient—just a 20-euro taxi ride to the Duomo, and even better, it's only a 5-minute walk to the metro station, making public transit super easy. Nearby, there's a local seafood spot called Osteria Molo 13, which seems to be part of a chain. Their oysters and mussels are fresh, flavorful, and priced incredibly well—great for a quick, authentic bite. The breakfast spread is consistently good: diverse, fresh, and satisfying every day. The room itself is spacious for Milan standards, impeccably clean, and extremely quiet—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and great value. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel with our family of three and booked a triple room on the 8th floor—huge space with two small balconies, which was perfect for relaxing in the morning. The bathroom features a clean separation between wet and dry areas, which is a nice touch. While the interior design shows some age, it’s still a well-established four-star property with solid quality. Breakfast was excellent—especially the freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, absolutely delicious. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient: just a 100-meter walk from Turro Metro Station (Line M1), and right next to a supermarket—only about 60 meters from the front door. That said, the store closes early, around 7:30 PM, which might be due to New Year’s Eve timing. Otherwise, we’d definitely recommend this hotel for families. Great value, great location, and a comfortable stay overall.

There’s even a decent-sized supermarket just steps away, which came in handy after days of eating out—grabbing some chicken legs and ribs to grill at home made for a nice change of pace. I also had to do a bit of waste sorting during my stay, which was a small learning curve for someone used to not doing it regularly, but it felt good to be eco-conscious. The sofa bed is a real win—easily converts into a comfortable extra bed, allowing my kids and me to sleep separately without any disruption. Overall, this place is ideal for families, offering comfort, convenience, and a true local vibe. Highly recommend! It’s one of those stays where you feel like you’re living like a local, not just visiting.

With such great value and a prime location, I’d definitely book again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan.

Italianway - Piazza Lima 1
We were supposed to receive the door code via email upon check-in, but it never arrived. When I tried to contact Italianway staff, I could barely hear them due to the loud noise in the office. They insisted it had been sent and that we should have it already. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally resent it. All this happened while we were standing outside in 34°C heat, waiting with our two heavy suitcases. To make matters worse, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs to a flat without air conditioning—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. As someone who’s lived in Italy for over 20 years (my wife is Italian), I know what to expect when traveling here, but this was still an exhausting experience, especially for us in our mid-seventies. That said, the apartment was clean and located in a very convenient spot—our only positive takeaway.
IH Hotels Milano Centrale
