The staff member handled it with calm confidence: she called the taxi company, confirmed the vehicle, and coordinated directly with the driver. Even though it had been over 30 minutes since I got off the car, I still held on to hope. Minutes later, the front desk called back—excitedly telling me the driver was already on his way back with my bag, delayed only by morning rush-hour traffic. I was stunned. Truly, I didn’t expect such efficiency and kindness from a city often seen as chaotic. The best part? My bag was untouched, sitting right where I left it—the back seat. So I relaxed in the hotel’s Instagram-worthy café, sipping coffee and enjoying the elegant ambiance while waiting. About 20 minutes later, the driver arrived with a big smile, apologizing profusely. I wanted to thank him with a tip, but he politely refused—until I insisted. It wasn’t just about getting my bag back; it was the humanity behind it all.
