The building itself is quite old with some worn-out exterior details and a slightly neglected appearance, but overall it’s still a solid choice for a short stay. Our apartment was spotless, the sofa bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed—including a washing machine, which made life much easier during our 6-day trip. The wooden stairs creak a bit and can be tricky with heavy luggage, but it’s manageable once you get used to them. The bathroom is compact and narrow—reaching the shower requires a bit of careful maneuvering—but it’s not a dealbreaker if you adapt. What really stands out is the location: there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the subway station is just a 10-minute walk away, and a bus stop is only about 100 meters from the front door. The neighborhood is quiet, safe even at night, and feels welcoming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—they even allowed us to store our bags before check-in, so we didn’t have to wander around town with our suitcases. Despite its age, this place offers great value for money, especially for travelers looking for a home-like experience in Berlin. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the city.

I took the M9 line, which gets you out in minutes, while S42 requires crossing a bridge, but it’s still easy to navigate once you know the route. The room itself was well-designed with excellent space, a great wardrobe, iron, and thoughtful bathroom layout. Only minor downside: the kettle wasn’t very efficient, but it’s something worth upgrading. Cleanliness was top-notch—daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and tidy. Staff were friendly, professional, and spoke English fluently, making communication smooth and pleasant. Overall, the hotel offers fantastic value for money. With easy access to public transit, local convenience, and a comfortable stay, this place really boosts your travel experience. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Berlin.

If you’re looking for a place where personal service shines, this might still be worth considering—just manage your expectations regarding the surroundings and amenities.

Everything was perfect. The room had an unusual layout with high-quality design touches, and the bed was very comfortable—just a bit narrow for us. The restaurant next door was excellent; we dined there twice and loved every bite. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 4th floor with a balcony, and breakfast was included. The location was convenient, the atmosphere peaceful, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place for its charm, comfort, and great value.

We were greeted with complimentary drinks upon arrival and even received a little thank-you gift when checking out. The apartment itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. As a family of six (with four kids), we all felt comfortable and well taken care of. The kids have already asked if we can stay here again on our next trip to Berlin! It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I can’t recommend Bensimon Apartments highly enough—truly a standout experience!
