Stayed at TULIP LODJ (Wuhan Jianghan Road Wusheng Road Subway Station) and overall, the room felt decent with modern decor and well-maintained amenities. However, a few issues did affect my comfort during the night. The air conditioning had to be set to maximum heat and fan speed—otherwise, it would automatically switch to cooling mode in the middle of the night, dropping the temperature to around 14°C, which was quite chilly. At 7 AM, I got a sudden robot delivery alert when an order was mistakenly sent to my room. Also, the LED strip behind the bed in my upper-floor room wouldn’t turn off initially—it stayed on all night, making it hard to fall asleep. A technician came later to reset the circuit and fixed it. The elevator is quite small; when checking out, I waited over 15 minutes just to squeeze in, so eventually had to take my luggage down via the emergency staircase. Even though check-out is officially at 2 PM, staff arrived at 1:30 PM knocking on the door to confirm departure, then came back twice more between 1:30 and 2 PM—felt a bit rushed and possibly due to internal communication mix-up. Despite these hiccups, the hotel’s location near Jianghan Road Metro Station makes exploring the city super convenient. It’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located stay with good value.

Getting a taxi from the front door was effortless, and the metro station is just a 2-3 minute walk away. It’s super convenient for exploring: East Lake is only two stops on the metro, and the museum is three stops away. The breakfast spread was impressive—great variety with both Western and Chinese options, satisfying and well-balanced. Excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Wuhan and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.
