Stayed at TULIP LODJ (Wuhan Jianghan Road Wusheng Road Subway Station) and overall, the room felt decent with modern decor and well-maintained amenities. However, a few issues did affect my comfort during the night. The air conditioning had to be set to maximum heat and fan speed—otherwise, it would automatically switch to cooling mode in the middle of the night, dropping the temperature to around 14°C, which was quite chilly. At 7 AM, I got a sudden robot delivery alert when an order was mistakenly sent to my room. Also, the LED strip behind the bed in my upper-floor room wouldn’t turn off initially—it stayed on all night, making it hard to fall asleep. A technician came later to reset the circuit and fixed it. The elevator is quite small; when checking out, I waited over 15 minutes just to squeeze in, so eventually had to take my luggage down via the emergency staircase. Even though check-out is officially at 2 PM, staff arrived at 1:30 PM knocking on the door to confirm departure, then came back twice more between 1:30 and 2 PM—felt a bit rushed and possibly due to internal communication mix-up. Despite these hiccups, the hotel’s location near Jianghan Road Metro Station makes exploring the city super convenient. It’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located stay with good value.

A friendly front-desk attendant not only helped carry my luggage upstairs but also patiently re-arranged my room to one I was truly happy with. Even better, welcome fruits and a little pack of monkey head mushroom cookies were waiting in my room—a sweet touch that made me smile. The next day, after running errands until 3 PM, I returned exhausted, only to find my phone dead and unable to check in due to a queue at the front desk.
