The luggage storage attendants were also friendly and reliable—always ready to assist. The room itself was beautifully designed: clean, minimalist, and well-equipped without feeling overly luxurious. I stayed in a high-floor riverside suite, and the view was stunning—wide-open vistas of the river by day, dazzling city lights at night. I stayed only one night to catch the stunning views of Canton Tower and the illuminated Pearl River at night, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service—on the second morning, they even brought complimentary breakfast snacks! It’s rare to find such a welcoming touch at a budget-friendly hotel. Despite the late arrival, everything was smooth and comfortable. If you're visiting Guangzhou for a quick overnight stay, especially to enjoy the city lights and river views, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend.

After returning from Hong Kong and taking the train into Guangzhou, I planned to spend two days relaxing, eating, and exploring. After browsing through several options on the platform, I finally chose this riverside apartment for its stunning views. It’s just an 8-minute walk from the Tuanyi Square Station on Line 6 of the metro—though keep in mind there’s no elevator at that station, which made it a bit tricky with two large suitcases. We had to ask staff for help carrying them up the stairs, but they were very accommodating. Since we arrived late, only one room was available—the 2402 river-view unit. The view was absolutely breathtaking, whether during the morning light or at night. The next day, the concierge upgraded us to Suite 1905, a spacious and well-designed room. While it didn’t have a full river view, the layout was excellent, and the space felt airy and clean. I even took a short video of the room (the one we stayed in the second day) to share with others. What really stood out was the service—our concierge was friendly, responsive, and attentive. Any small request we made was handled promptly, and their professionalism made the stay feel personal and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for travelers who value both comfort and great views.

I stayed at Yueyang Hostel near Zhongkai University for my IELTS exam, and overall it was a great experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the test center, which made early morning prep easy and stress-free. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and even though I ordered takeout, I enjoyed the lively vibe of the street food stalls, especially the barbecue vendors that line the area. One of the highlights was the friendly cat that roams the property—it’s adorable and adds a cozy touch to the stay. The only minor issue was being woken up around 2-3 AM by someone knocking on every door on the floor. It wasn’t the hotel staff, so I didn’t deduct points, but it did feel unsettling. I’d recommend the hostel consider improving security measures—maybe a simple door access system or a quiet reminder to guests about late-night noise. Despite that, the cleanliness, comfort, and value for money were excellent. If I’m back in Guangzhou for another exam, I’ll definitely book here again.
