This is our third visit to Astro Palace Hotel in Fira, Santorini — and every time feels like coming home. Since our first stay back in 2022, followed by 2023, and now again in 2025, this place has truly become a second home for us. The property is impeccably maintained, with a staff team that’s not only professionally trained but also genuinely warm and attentive. We’ve experienced some of the best hospitality we’ve ever encountered during our travels around the world. A heartfelt thank you to Hope and Catherine for your exceptional care — you made our stay unforgettable. We also appreciate the barman (we’re sorry we can’t recall your name!) and the entire restaurant team for your dedication and friendly service. Staying at Cavo Bianco Boutique Hotel & Spa was an absolute highlight of our trip to Santorini. The location is perfect—quiet yet just a short walk from Kamari Beach, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and seaside activities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; Catherine and Zane were especially attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities are top-notch, with the spa being a real treat for unwinding after long days exploring. While the continental breakfast could include more vegetarian options, it was still fresh, satisfying, and well-prepared. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional value, comfort, and hospitality. We’d happily return in a heartbeat.

Alti Santorini Suites - Caldera View
Stunning views from the room—every morning started with a breathtaking view of the caldera, and the sunset was absolutely unforgettable. The property has a charming, rustic vibe, though some areas could use a little renovation. That said, the overall atmosphere is cozy and authentic. One minor issue was a faint sewer odor in one of the rooms, but it dissipated quickly after opening the windows. Location is excellent—just a short walk to the town center and all the main sights. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic stay without breaking the bank, this place is definitely worth considering. Great value for the price, and the views alone make it memorable.
Santonero - the Philoxenia Project
This is one of the best value stays I've had in Santorini! While it's located on the southern part of the island—away from the main towns—it’s actually a plus if you're looking for peace and quiet. The huge swimming pool is stunning, and the small indoor heated pool is perfect for cool evenings or early mornings. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable with a modern, minimalist vibe. Staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even though it’s not right next to the village, getting around is easy—just a short drive or a nice walk to explore the area. I loved the balance between relaxation and convenience. If you want a peaceful retreat with great amenities and excellent service, this place is absolutely worth considering.

The staff went above and beyond—so polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. Upon arrival, we were greeted with local treats: a bottle of wine, olives, and handmade goodies that gave us a true taste of Santorini. On our departure, they even surprised us with a little keepsake bracelet—such a thoughtful touch. I was celebrating my 40th birthday during the trip, and the team made it truly special with a surprise celebration that brought tears to my eyes. The views are breathtaking, the villa is beautifully designed, and every detail feels intentional. If you're looking for a romantic, memorable stay in Oia with authentic hospitality, this place is absolutely perfect. I can't recommend it enough—10/10, hands down.
