Every detail screamed quality and intention. We checked into a standard room, but even the room tour felt like an experience—each cabinet and drawer revealed thoughtful touches: a golf cart model, a vintage hourglass, curated books. These aren’t just decorative items; they reflect the hotel’s unique personality and attention to storytelling. The amenities were top-tier—thick, plush slippers, a 17g mid-size Colgate toothpaste, and a wooden comb. Simple things, but so well executed, it made a real emotional impact. Breakfast was an absolute highlight. So much variety, so much flavor—my stomach really couldn’t handle it all! The live stations were impressive, especially the handmade wontons by Auntie Sun. Her warmth was infectious, and the wontons? Thin wrappers, generously stuffed with hand-ground meat that was springy and juicy—clearly made fresh, not mass-produced. The seafood congee was rich and aromatic, and fresh-squeezed juice added a perfect finishing touch. Staff were attentive without being intrusive—if something needed time, they’d ask where we were seated and bring it straight to us. The pool was massive, deep enough (around 1.4m), and kept at a perfect 30°C—ideal for winter swimming. At night, it felt almost private, like we had the whole space to ourselves. The dry sauna was spacious, well-ventilated, and completely quiet—no distractions. Even the shower and vanity areas used the same high-end products and appliances as the bedroom—zero compromises. Bonus: the complimentary 30-minute golf session at the practice range. As a complete beginner, I surprised myself with how well I did—fun, engaging, and genuinely memorable. I’d been slightly nervous after reading some negative comments about cold staff, but every interaction was warm, professional, and efficient. Housekeeping responded within minutes of a call—truly next-level responsiveness. Despite being in a quieter season (and even on a weekend), the hotel maintained its premium standards. Rumor has it the previous guest amenities were by Acqua di Parma, so there might’ve been some cost adjustments—but the soul of the place remains intact. This isn’t a hotel chasing trends or partnering with random photo shoots. It’s a genuine, well-crafted property built on substance, consistency, and care. Even better, the hotel included complimentary tickets to the nearby Six Dynasties Museum—a thoughtful touch that made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—central, walkable to major attractions, and just a short metro ride from everything. My stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. You can even stamp your own postcard with the hotel’s unique cultural design and send it off. It’s such a fun, memorable touch. The next morning, the restaurant manager even remembered us and proactively offered to prepare a special breakfast for our little one. That level of personal care truly touched me. Every staff member we encountered—from the security team and bell staff to the front desk and housekeeping managers—was polite, efficient, and went out of their way to help. The room managers, Li and Fan, responded instantly to any need, and the dining team led by Manager Wang Yan and Wu Li made sure every detail was perfect. Even at checkout, they surprised my child with a cute fridge magnet as a farewell gift. This is the kind of hotel that makes you feel like family. Stayed at Golden Eagle Summit Hotel in Nanjing and absolutely loved it! As a platform member, we were upgraded to a spacious suite—perfect for our family of three. The living area had a comfortable sofa where we could relax and watch TV like we were at home. The bed was huge, so no one felt cramped—even with three of us sleeping comfortably. Located right across from Jiangsu Road Metro Station, getting around the city was super convenient. Plus, there’s a Cha Yan Yue Se just outside the door—ideal for a quick coffee or snack. Clean rooms, great service, and excellent value. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Nanjing!

Every detail — from room names like 'First Success' and 'Top of the Dragon' to the subtle academic motifs throughout — reflects a deep appreciation for China’s scholarly past. The location is unbeatable: just steps from the heart of Confucius Temple, within walking distance of the ancient Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall and Old Men Dong. At night, strolling along the riverfront lit up by lanterns is pure magic. What truly surprised me was how quiet it felt indoors despite being in such a lively area — the double-glazed windows effectively blocked out all external noise, making for some of the best sleep I’ve had on my trip. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive; I even received a friendly call before check-in.
