This was our first visit, and since we weren’t familiar with the city layout, we booked Qingmu Hotel at the North Gate of Confucius Temple Metro Station. We couldn’t be happier with the choice. The hotel is perfectly located—right next to the scenic area, with easy access to all major attractions via metro. The elevator in the building, full breakfast options, and well-maintained facilities made our stay comfortable and convenient. We stayed for two nights and had to praise the breakfast—it wasn’t huge on variety, but everything tasted fresh and delicious. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond: rooms were spotless, down to the smallest detail. And yes, the front desk on the first floor offers free disposable amenities—something we noticed from reviews beforehand, and now fully understand why it’s such a highlight. Nanjing truly lives up to its reputation as a must-visit destination. Our itinerary included the Palace Museum, Presidential Palace, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, Music Hall, the famous Ginkgo Avenue, the City Wall, a boat ride along the Qinhuai River, the Confucius Temple area, and Niushou Mountain. We also devoured countless local delicacies. Oh, and we almost forgot—the stunning restroom at deji Plaza! That’s one more reason to come back.
