The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—48 RMB for such a generous, delicious spread. It’s easily the best breakfast I’ve had at any four-star hotel I’ve stayed at over the past two years. Several guests even commented on how great it was, and I totally agree. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Located near Nanping Pedestrian Street and Jiaosanqiao Metro Station, getting around the city is super convenient via subway. There’s a small convenience store right downstairs, so grabbing daily essentials is super convenient. The breakfast area is spacious with a wide variety of dishes, all well-prepared and tasty — a great way to start the day. Parking is available both on ground level and underground, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. The room itself was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors from the carpet. The in-room safe is a nice touch for storing valuables. One minor suggestion: the king-size room could use an extra nightstand — it would make things more convenient for placing phones or books. Also, the showerhead in room 1715 requires constant pressure to stay open (it shuts off when released), and the cold water pressure in room 1714’s sink seems low — possibly a faucet issue that could benefit from maintenance. Despite these small points, the overall experience was excellent. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location, and fantastic value. I’d definitely come back — this is now my go-to choice in Kunming.
