The only minor issues were a slight musty smell in the bathroom, a small leak around the wet/dry separation area, and slow drainage in the shower. These are small things that could be improved with a quick check-up. Despite these little drawbacks, the hotel continues to make noticeable progress. I was pregnant and had my 4D ultrasound at Mary Hospital nearby—literally a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It’s super easy to find, with clear signage and convenient access from the metro station. There are tons of great dining options around, especially breakfast spots, which made it perfect for expecting moms. Right across the street is the People’s Cinema, so on September 18th, I even caught a screening of 731—nice cultural touch. Plus, being close to Hongqi Road meant I could grab a new smartphone without any hassle. Everything was within reach, and the whole experience felt seamless. This place is not just affordable—it’s smart, convenient, and very thoughtfully located. Definitely going back.

The manager was warm and welcoming, creating that genuine 'home away from home' feeling. Breakfast was standard for Xinjiang—typical staples like flatbread, eggs, and yogurt—but I was slightly disappointed there wasn’t a standout local touch, especially in the milk tea, which felt generic compared to what I’ve had elsewhere. Still, considering the excellent location, friendly service, and overall value, this is definitely a top pick if you're visiting Urumqi. I’d stay here again without hesitation.
