Even though I only stayed one night, the breakfast experience on the 45th floor was unforgettable—vast, delicious, and served with a stunning 360-degree view of Guangzhou. My two-night stay at Baiyun Hotel Guangzhou was mostly a great experience, though it started with a hiccup. The first night was booked through a platform, and the business twin room had a strong odor that didn’t clear up even after hours of ventilation—seriously affected my sleep. On check-in for the second day, I mentioned the issue to Ms. Li Zhihong at the front desk, and she responded with genuine care and efficiency. She immediately upgraded me to a superior executive twin room on the 28th floor (room 2823), which made a huge difference. The room was spotless, bright, and well-maintained—exactly what I needed after a rough start. The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to assist. Breakfast at the 30th-floor buffet was excellent—wide variety, good quality, and well-organized despite the high turnout. The rooftop fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool are top-notch: clean, spacious, and professionally managed. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in many ways. Kudos to the team for turning a negative into a positive. Keep up the great work!

One of the most maternity-friendly hotels I've ever stayed at! The staff went above and beyond—helping with luggage every step of the way, which made the whole experience so much easier. We also enjoyed a fantastic complimentary photo session: the photographer was quick, talented, and captured beautiful, natural shots—plus they even provided stylish outfits for the shoot! The hotel is housed in a former Qing Dynasty general's residence, and the central garden is absolutely perfect for kids to run around and explore. I’ve heard great things about the Red Cotton Restaurant too—definitely planning to try it on my next visit. With its rich history, warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches, this place truly stands out. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The luggage storage attendants were also friendly and reliable—always ready to assist. The room itself was beautifully designed: clean, minimalist, and well-equipped without feeling overly luxurious. I stayed in a high-floor riverside suite, and the view was stunning—wide-open vistas of the river by day, dazzling city lights at night. Despite being over 50 years old, the hotel has been thoughtfully renovated throughout—from the lobby and corridors to elevators and guest rooms—all blending timeless elegance with modern comfort. Unlike some flashy new hotels that prioritize style over substance, this one truly delivers on professionalism, comfort, and consistency. The staff is courteous, the rooms are quiet, and the location is super convenient—just a short walk from the Zongzhuang Metro Station, making access to Guangzhou’s attractions effortless. What really stands out is the incredible value for money. For families traveling together, this place hits all the right notes—comfortable, safe, and affordable. I’ll definitely be back.

To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
