While the space isn’t huge, the quality and attention to detail felt far beyond a standard hotel—certainly on par with, if not better than, some older five-star properties I’ve stayed at. The staff were attentive without being intrusive—always ready to help but never overbearing. The minimalist, elegant exterior blends seamlessly into the neighborhood, giving it a quiet, boutique vibe. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re relying on public transit—the Changgang Metro Station is just a short walk away, and you’re steps from Haizhu Square and major roads. If you're driving, navigating in and out of the residential area can be tricky, but the hotel does offer parking. I missed breakfast due to oversleeping, but my friend said it was delicious—definitely worth trying next time. Overall, this was one of the most satisfying stays I’ve had in Guangzhou. I was especially impressed by the soundproofing; it was so quiet at night that I barely heard any outside noise, which helped me sleep deeply. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of fresh bread, pastries, fruits, and drinks to choose from, all tasty and well-prepared. Plus, the location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Guangzhou Railway Station and surrounded by shopping areas and local attractions. I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
