I've visited Xiamen a few times before, but this was my first stay in Haicang District—perfect timing for the marathon! The apartment is uniquely positioned right next to a Marriott hotel, with easy access to the metro station just a short walk away. I stayed on the 30th floor, and the sea view from the room was absolutely breathtaking—sunrises and sunsets were unforgettable. The host was incredibly accommodating; knowing I had just finished the race, they kindly allowed me to check out as late as 2 PM, even offering a warm drink to help me unwind. Clean, modern, and well-designed, the space felt like a home away from home. With such great service, stunning views, and unbeatable convenience, this place offers amazing value. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Xiamen.

Staying at Haolaiwu Apartment felt more like renting a regular residential unit in a village area rather than a proper hotel. The room was converted from an old apartment building in a bustling urban village, and there was no key card—just a standard door lock, which made me feel less secure. Inside the room, I found remnants of previous guests: old books, dusty items, and clutter that weren’t properly cleaned out. It gave the place a very unpolished, unfinished vibe. While the location is central and accessible by public transit, the overall condition didn’t match expectations for a basic accommodation. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option and don’t mind a slightly rough-around-the-edges stay, this might work—but it’s not worth the price if cleanliness and privacy matter to you.

I was especially impressed by the pool facilities—both indoor and outdoor options are available, and the indoor pool has a perfect water temperature. I swam four times during my three-night stay, and it was such a relaxing experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is excellent, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Located in a vibrant area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, it’s also just steps away from a beautiful lakeside park—ideal for morning walks or a quick workout. The gym and pool are open late, which is great for travelers with varied schedules. Overall, this was an outstanding stay with fantastic value. I’ll definitely return.

I've been traveling from Harbin for nearly twenty days now, staying at various accommodations along the way—but this was my first time trying a boutique apartment stay, and honestly, it completely exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, with brand-new bedding that felt fresh and comfortable. Each unit came with a thoughtful welcome bag containing disposable slippers, toiletries, face cloths, and towels—everything you need, all clean and hygienic. Parking is convenient, with both ground-level and underground options, plus an elevator that goes straight to your floor. It's just a short walk from Haicang Bridge and super easy to reach Gulangyu Island via public transit. This place easily tops my list of most-reviewed stays on my entire journey so far.
