Facilities are top-notch: the indoor pool, spa-like hot spring, and well-equipped fitness center were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The lobby’s artistic design sets the tone for the whole experience—elegant and inviting. Surrounded by lush greenery and a serene garden atmosphere, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat. A short stroll takes you straight to Hai'eng Dam, with easy access to ethnic villages and Hai'eng Park—ideal for sightseeing or just relaxing. Breakfast was exceptional—wide variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. The Chinese restaurant stood out especially; their claypot rice was rich, aromatic, and unforgettable. We originally booked just two nights but ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. If you're looking for comfort, charm, and great value in Kunming, this is the place to be.

Staying just one night, but it felt like a perfect escape. The location is fantastic—easy access to downtown by metro, and best of all, no crowds at all. Traveling off-peak truly lets you enjoy the city at your own pace. The service here was exceptional, especially from Alan at reception. He upgraded my room for free upon check-in, and when I mentioned wanting to try the sauna, he not only confirmed we had a private steam room but went the extra mile to arrange it just for me. Turns out the facility is usually only opened when there are guests booking in, so having it reserved exclusively for me was a real surprise—and a wonderful touch. It made the whole experience feel personal and special. Definitely worth every penny, and I’ll be back.
