In the evening, we headed to the Ferris wheel and were pleasantly surprised by how few people were in line—got tickets and boarded right away, enjoying stunning views of the city skyline. The hotel’s Chinese restaurant served amazing noodles with crisp vegetables, and the squirrel-shaped mandarin fish was freshly prepared—absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a diverse menu including sesame dumplings, Ao Zao noodles, egg rolls, Benedict eggs, sweet pea and pomelo cheese salad, and the yellow peach milk banana pancake—each dish was flavorful and satisfying. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. From comfort to convenience, every detail was spot-on. This place truly delivers on luxury and value. I’ll definitely be back.

Despite its heritage, the pricing feels very reasonable and fair. The room was clean, comfortable, and the overall vibe made me feel right at home. Although the hotel was undergoing renovations to the temple and Building 8, and it was winter, I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the beautiful garden scenery of Nanyuan. Still, the overall experience was outstanding. The staff were exceptional—helping with luggage, offering electric shuttle service between buildings, and ensuring comfort throughout. Even in the evening, the fitness center and swimming pool were warm and inviting, so no worries about getting cold. Breakfast was one of the better ones in this chain: the noodle stall stood out with unique items like sesame brown sugar smoothies and a special vegetarian pan-fried dumpling. Staff were attentive—the moment my mom sat down, someone asked if she wanted soy milk, and three cups arrived right away. The duplex room was spacious, especially the second-floor bedroom, which felt very comfortable. A few facilities could use upgrading—like the showerhead pressure and the small, outdated changing rooms at the pool area. That said, the evening ambiance in the lobby was truly magical: soft melodies from pipa and guqin performances created a peaceful, almost tea-house-like atmosphere. Sitting back with a cup of tea and chatting quietly was incredibly relaxing.
