Just a quick heads-up for travelers: while the hotel itself is conveniently located, I strongly advise being extra cautious when using the ADO bus terminal in Cancún city center. On the afternoon of February 4th, 2023, I was boarding a bus to Chiquila at the crowded terminal when someone stole my purse—containing cash and credit cards—right in front of me during a surge of passengers. I screamed for help, but no staff responded, as if I wasn’t even there. Afterward, they only told me to go report it to the local prosecutor’s office, which I did. These thieves are very organized—they watch their targets long before boarding, assess whether you’re traveling alone or with others, and pick the perfect moment to strike, especially during the chaos of boarding. They’ll push or jostle you right when the crowd is dense. It’s scary how vulnerable you feel with zero police presence. Please, always keep your valuables secure, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and stay alert—especially in high-traffic areas. Your safety comes first.

While there aren't many restaurants right on site, using the platform’s quick delivery service easily solves any dining needs. We recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Cancun Family 3-Bedroom Ocean Villa and had an absolutely fantastic experience—truly deserving of a perfect 10/10. Our villa was spacious, beautifully appointed, and located just steps from the beach—a major highlight that made mornings by the water unforgettable. The beach itself was pristine, with plenty of lounge chairs available, so we never had to worry about finding a spot to relax. Service stood out in every way—especially Sergio and Enrique at the restaurants. Sergio went above and beyond to help us with minor scheduling hiccups, making our vacation run smoothly. And Enrique? He blew us away—he remembered our first visit here 30 years ago during our honeymoon, when he was already working at the resort! Sharing those nostalgic moments made the stay feel deeply personal and special. One downside was the inconsistent Wi-Fi, particularly in parts of the villa where signal was completely absent. Verizon users might also face weak or unreliable coverage across the property. Food-to-go options were limited too—wanting sushi and burgers at the same time meant visiting separate restaurants instead of being able to bring food from one to another, even if they were nearby. Lastly, room service came with an extra fee that felt a bit steep given the all-inclusive nature of the package. But honestly, these small drawbacks didn’t take away from the overall excellence. With stunning ocean views, top-tier hospitality, and unforgettable memories, this is definitely a place we’d return to.
