The views from the room are outstanding, with direct sightlines to Marina Bay Sands and its iconic fountain, especially magical during the nightly light show. What really stands out is the pricing—it’s significantly more affordable than the others without compromising on quality. Mandarin Oriental wins for interior design and exceptional service, plus it’s just a short walk to Marina Bay Sands, so the higher rate makes sense. Fairmont? It’s decent, but not much better than Swissotel in terms of experience, yet priced higher. Overall, if you want top-tier comfort, stunning views, and great value, Swissotel The Stamford delivers exactly that—without breaking the bank.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful—when I was heading to the airport, they arranged a taxi for me that ended up costing 4–5 SGD less than what I’d saved using my app. They were consistently kind and attentive throughout my stay, even offering free luggage storage on departure day, which gave me peace of mind to enjoy my final hours without rushing. One thing to note: a daily deposit of around 50 SGD is required, payable in cash. Foreign currency is accepted too—just be prepared with some physical cash (I used NZD).
