I checked in during the afternoon, and the front desk staff, Catherine, was absolutely outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely warm. After settling in, they surprised me with a complimentary fruit tray. I casually mentioned how nice the tangerines were, and within minutes, they brought out a whole large bowl! It was such a thoughtful touch—completely unexpected but deeply appreciated. This level of personalized service really sets the hotel apart. Every detail feels cared for, and the attention to small gestures makes all the difference. Definitely a 10/10 experience and a place I’d happily return to.

Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

When checking out, I requested a late checkout, and although they could only accommodate a short extension due to high occupancy, they made every effort to help. Despite being in the heart of Guangzhou, the surroundings are surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal retreat after a long day. While not huge, the space felt efficient and comfortable for a city stay. The breakfast, prepared by a chef from Sichuan, was surprisingly delicious and authentic—definitely a highlight. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out, which made my travel plans much more flexible. Free tea and coffee at the front desk are a thoughtful touch, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for travelers visiting the Pazhou Exhibition Center area. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Guangzhou.

The area is packed with attractions: Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Yuexiu Park, Tianzi Wharf, Canton Tower, and even the bustling shopping malls like Tianhe City and Wanling Plaza—all within walking distance. What really stood out was how family-friendly the place is. There’s a washing machine, ample space to hang clothes, and the room has air conditioning plus the ability to open windows for fresh air—perfect for long stays. On top of that, the rooftop offers a table tennis room and a small gym, which was great for unwinding after a busy day. Sitting up there at night, overlooking the city lights along the Pearl River, felt truly special. Whether you're here for business, sightseeing, or just relaxing, this apartment-style hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and value in spades. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou.
Paco Hotel Canton Tower Pazhou
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Paco Hotel Canton Tower Pazhou! The location is super easy to find, with a big banyan tree and a striking black horse statue right outside—great landmarks. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the robot delivering my takeout straight to my door—just make sure to include your room number when ordering, or it might get sent to the wrong place. Free laundry and drying service is such a convenient bonus, especially during busy travel days. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and I even appreciated the follow-up courtesy from the safety team—it really made me feel valued.
