We decided to check in a day early for our kid’s performance at the hotel’s banquet hall on New Year's Eve, avoiding potential traffic stress. From the moment we arrived, the front desk had already prepared our room—so thoughtful and efficient! The staff went above and beyond, even providing earplugs when asked. Our room on the 16th floor was spacious and well-designed with a business-friendly vibe—comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep, and a bathroom with clear separation between wet and dry areas, plus a relaxing bathtub. Since we had a late checkout due to the event, we were pleasantly surprised to get complimentary parking—no extra hassle. Breakfast and lunch were both enjoyed at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and consistent quality, while lunch was equally satisfying. Everything was smooth, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. This stay exceeded expectations—perfect for families or business travelers looking for comfort and reliability. Highly recommended.

What truly stood out was the front desk staff—they were so kind and helpful. I accidentally overslept, and they kindly extended my check-out time without hesitation. That level of care made me feel really welcomed. Conveniently located near Changqing Road Metro Station, it’s super easy to get to the World Expo Park and other attractions. Excellent value for money, and I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Shanghai!

Stayed at MGM Shanghai West Bund on January 1st, and despite the hotel being busy, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive 👍 While our room was delayed slightly, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade—what a treat! The view from the window was stunning, and my kids had an absolute blast exploring the space 🥳 This was my first visit to this property in eight years, having moved cities since last time, and it still managed to exceed expectations 💖 The front desk team—both the guys and girls—were so warm and professional, making us feel right at home 🌷 When we checked out, I casually mentioned how much my child enjoyed the stay, and they immediately handed us a little lion plushie as a sweet keepsake! That kind of thoughtful gesture truly made the trip unforgettable 🤩 It’s not just about the luxury—it’s the genuine care and attention that makes this hotel stand out. The room isn’t huge, but it has a window, is quiet, and feels peaceful. The bedding is top-notch—the pillows come in two options: firm memory foam and softer ones, so you can pick what suits your sleep style. I slept like a baby! Plus, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps from the metro station, making it super easy to reach Expo Park and Xian’an Dream Center. Whether taking the subway or hailing a cab, everything is close and convenient. For the price, this place offers amazing value. Highly recommend!

Jinjiang Inn (Shanghai Caobao Road Metro Station)

I stayed at Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Caobao Road Metro Station, and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. The elevator was out of order, so I had to climb up to the third floor—very inconvenient, especially with luggage. Upon entering the room, I noticed a noticeable dip in the floor right by the door, nearly causing me to trip. The toilet lid was broken and wouldn’t snap back into place, which was quite frustrating. While there was no water outage during my stay, the shower pressure was extremely low—hardly any hot water flow. After checking other reviews, I saw multiple guests mentioning similar issues, confirming that these aren’t isolated incidents. The room condition and maintenance clearly need improvement. Despite being near the metro station, the overall value for money isn’t great. I’d recommend the hotel to reconsider its upkeep and guest experience.

It's been two years since my last visit, and the front desk staff actually remembered me—what a wonderful touch! This is hands down my top choice for business trips to Shanghai. The value-for-money is incredible: I stayed in an 80-square-meter room for just a few hundred yuan, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The area is also great—just a short walk from Qin Shi Intangible Cultural Heritage Pavilion, where I tried their fish head and braised pork—both absolutely delicious. A huge thanks to Lucia and Ruita for upgrading my room and providing a complimentary breakfast. It felt so welcoming, like coming home. I’ll definitely be back next time!

Located in a fantastic spot, this apartment is just a short walk from the metro station—super convenient for getting around Shanghai. The neighborhood is packed with great dining options and shopping spots, so everything you need is right at your doorstep. On the bright side, it's directly across from Xujiahui Park, which makes for a perfect little escape and an ideal photo backdrop. Whether you're looking to relax or snap some Instagram-worthy shots, this place delivers. With such a prime location and excellent value, I’d definitely book here again on my next visit.
