It’s a bit off the beaten path, but since we were driving, it wasn’t an issue—just a short ride to the main pedestrian streets and night markets, only a few kilometers away. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with any request, yet respectful of our privacy and never intruding. What stood out most was the excellent soundproofing—completely quiet at night, perfect for a restful sleep. A truly peaceful retreat with great value, and I’d happily return.

Location-wise, it's unbeatable—right downstairs there’s a convenience store and plenty of local eateries, and just across the street is a fantastic noodle shop where we grabbed delicious congee every morning. We’ve stayed here on every trip to Guilin and will definitely keep coming back. It’s convenient, comfortable, and offers great value—all while feeling like a home away from home.

The Pai Hotel at Guilin University of Technology is a real gem. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to East and West Alley, perfect for exploring local culture. The only minor note is that there’s a small market directly below, which can be a bit noisy early in the morning—but closing the windows completely solves that. Overall, it’s clean, well-maintained, and offers excellent value. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable base in Guilin with great access to everything, this is definitely the place to stay.
