I also want to highlight how friendly and attentive the staff were—especially Reya and her team. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, always smiling and ready to help. It’s clear they genuinely care about guest comfort. For a great balance of value, convenience, and warm hospitality, this hotel is absolutely worth considering. InterContinental Qingdao
Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.

Special thanks to Erin and Daniel at the front desk—when they found out I’m a regular guest, they warmly upgraded me to a better room at no extra cost. The view from the window is absolutely stunning, with vibrant cityscapes stretching across the skyline. The room itself is much more spacious than the standard option, making the whole experience feel luxurious and relaxing. The location couldn’t be better—it’s right in the heart of the city, so everything is within easy reach. Whether you’re heading to shopping areas, tourist spots, or local restaurants, it’s just a short walk or quick ride away. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding. There’s an impressive variety: fresh Chinese options like steamed buns, congee, and hot stir-fries, plus classic Western choices such as croissants, coffee, and salads. Everything is made with care, using high-quality ingredients, and tastes fantastic every morning. From the personal touch of the staff to the unbeatable convenience and delicious food, this hotel truly delivers on every level. If I ever come back to Qingdao, there’s no way I’d stay anywhere else.

Staying at Qingdao Haitian Hotel — an absolute gem from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team greeted us warmly, and our room was thoughtfully decorated for my birthday with a cute plush toy, soft lighting, and a little heart-shaped balloon — such a sweet surprise. Winnie Xiao Li, the guest relations officer, sent daily morning messages with helpful tips and reminders, always ready to assist via WeChat. Any concerns were addressed promptly and clearly, making everything feel effortless. They even noticed how important hydration is when traveling, so they delivered plenty of bottled water throughout our stay — no more dry mouth or discomfort. Since our train back was in the evening, they kindly extended our check-out time, giving us extra time to enjoy swimming and dining without rushing. When it came time to leave, our luggage was already packed and waiting, perfectly synced with our ride-hailing service — seamless and stress-free. The housekeeping staff, especially Yan Shuya, showed incredible attention to detail — she noticed I like using hand cream and left a small premium bottle just for me. That kind of personal touch really stood out. At the 7th-floor infinity pool, lifeguard Zhao Chunyang was not only professional and safety-conscious but also took great photos for us — friendly and reliable. The breakfast staff in the 1988 All-Day Dining restaurant were cheerful and efficient, moving quickly between tables during peak hours while keeping things clean and welcoming. Their double-sided table signs (showing 'occupied' and 'available') prevented any awkward moments when grabbing food. The fruit bar was constantly replenished by staff who monitored usage and freshened up the display on the spot — absolutely impressive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: walking distance to Wusi Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and the famous Badaguan scenic area. A short taxi ride gets you to Qingdao Railway Station within 15 minutes. Around the hotel, there are tons of great local eateries — both in Hai Tian Mall and GT Plaza — all offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The rooms were spacious, bright, and beautifully laid out, with stunning sea and city views. American Egris bath amenities added a touch of luxury. The lobby is grand and modern, and the 7th-floor infinity pool offers breathtaking ocean vistas — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view. Overall, this stay exceeded every expectation. Not only did the hotel earn my loyalty, but I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. If I ever return to Qingdao, there’s only one place I’ll consider: Qingdao Haitian Hotel.
