So we quickly changed our plans and booked this hotel on short notice—and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. The location was easy to find with just a quick GPS search, and the young, friendly owner (a real charmer!) helped us locate a nearby free parking spot. He also gave us a great recommendation for a delicious yet affordable barbecue place. Since we were traveling with our kids, he even surprised us with a bottle of BaiShi Mountain water—explaining that the two bottles provided in-room were alkaline and might not be ideal for children. That kind of thoughtful touch really stood out. The room itself was immaculate, with so many little details that made our stay special: a Dyson hairdryer, powerful bathroom heater (our child didn’t get cold after a bath), and even a full box of cotton swabs and floss—something I’ve never seen in other hotels before. Our laptop setup wasn’t something I’d normally notice, but my husband and kids each had their own computer and seemed totally happy playing games. Meanwhile, I enjoyed a huge, crisp projection screen (hard surface) with perfect image alignment—no more blurry or misaligned projections like in some previous Airbnb stays. The view from the room at night was stunning too, though I completely forgot to take a photo. Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back.
