I accidentally broke a glass during check-out, but they didn’t charge me a single penny—such a thoughtful gesture that really stood out. However, I do need to warn fellow travelers about a concerning experience at the airport. After arriving midday, I was approached by someone in uniform with a walkie-talkie offering a ride to my hotel. They quoted 650,000 VND (under $20 USD), which seemed fair. But as soon as we started driving, the driver suddenly stopped and demanded money. There were several young men nearby, intimidating foreigners like me who don’t speak Vietnamese. Without warning, they took around $85 USD directly from my wallet before fleeing. Another guy then took over and brought me to the hotel. It was clearly a scam—no taxi sign, just a private car. This kind of predatory behavior is dangerous and common at the airport. My advice? Avoid hailing rides from anyone near the terminal. Always use trusted platforms or official transportation services instead. That said, the hotel itself is fantastic—great value, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Though the hot water comes out from the blue button (not red, which was confusing at first), once I figured it out, I could fully soak in comfort. At 153 cm tall, I managed to stretch out completely—truly refreshing after a long flight. The shower pressure is a bit weak, and since I filled the tub before showering, the water flow felt even lower—maybe standard for this type of property. I arrived around 2 PM and ordered Bun Cha via Grab right away—it hit the spot. My flight was at 6:55 AM the next day, so I checked out by 4 AM. The hotel arranged a taxi for me, and I paid 100,000 VND (~$600 JPY) for the transfer, which seemed fair. If you book early, using Grab at 4 AM might get you to the airport for nearly half the price—but with such an early departure, I’d rather pay a little extra for peace of mind. The hotel is just 5–10 minutes by car from the airport, and there’s a supermarket within a 15-minute walk. If you’re looking for a quiet, convenient place with a real bathtub and good access to the airport, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
