We visited Shenyang for the National Day holiday and stayed at Haiyun Jinjiang International Hotel—perfectly located just a short walk from Shenyang Railway Station. We booked a family room with one double bed and one single bed, which worked great for our group of three—plenty of space and everyone slept well. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high quality, though the decorative touches on the beds were a little too cute for our taste—laughed about it, but no complaints! Breakfast was an absolute highlight: abundant, fresh, and delicious. The fried dough sticks were made right in front of us—crispy outside, soft inside—and the soy milk was rich and satisfying. Instead of just saying no, the front desk sent over a little portable refrigerator courtesy of a kind staff member. I arrived around 7:30 AM, well before check-in, but since some guests checked out by 8:00 AM, housekeeping was quick to prepare the room and I was in within minutes—super efficient and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable; after a full day of exploring, I crashed right into sleep. Even though the hotel faces a busy street, closing the windows completely blocked out the noise. The next morning, I headed up to the fifth-floor gym—basic but well-equipped with a treadmill, dumbbells, and a yoga mat, perfect for a quick workout. Breakfast was a real highlight—authentic Shenyang-style dishes that tasted amazing, and they even offered healthy options for those watching their intake. The rooftop area on floor five is seriously photogenic—great lighting and stylish backdrops, ideal for Instagram-worthy shots. And as a nice touch, they handed me two bottles of water when checking out. This stay was flawless from start to finish—clean, convenient, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable.
