The hotel overall is excellent—comfortable rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff. While it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station, it’s manageable and not a major issue. Breakfast was decent with a variety of options, but the coffee and tea were disappointing. The coffee was extremely weak—by far the weakest I’ve had in any hotel stay. The black tea tasted more like colored water than actual tea, and there were no fresh tea bags available for brewing. It really brought down the experience, especially since other aspects of the stay were so positive. That said, the room comfort, cleanliness, and service all exceeded expectations. Definitely worth staying again if they can upgrade the beverage offerings.

The dryer is a game-changer, especially in Suzhou’s chilly winter weather when clothes take forever to air-dry. It's their local specialty: sweet red bean and brown sugar congee, comforting and delicious. Athena, one of the staff members, stands out with her friendly, attentive service—always ready to help.
