Staying at The Roseate Edinburgh was a truly memorable experience. While it didn’t stand out dramatically over our previous night’s accommodation, the unique charm of being housed within a historic castle made all the difference. The atmosphere is quiet and serene—perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the city. Rooms were clean, well-appointed, and surprisingly peaceful, with excellent sound insulation. The surrounding area is pleasant too—cozy cafés, local shops, and easy access to public transport make getting around hassle-free. It’s not just a place to sleep; it feels like stepping into a story. Great value, great location, and an unforgettable stay overall.

Staying at The Bonham was an excellent experience overall. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the city center and well-connected by public transit. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern touches. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was impressive with fresh options including made-to-order eggs—perfect for starting the day. One downside was the 12.5% fee applied to all purchases made through the platform, which felt a bit unexpected and not clearly communicated upfront. Still, despite that, the quality of the hotel, service, and value for money made it worth it. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again.

I can't recommend this place enough. Nestled in the charming Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh, it's just a 20-minute walk through the peaceful Meadow to the city centre—perfect for a relaxed stroll. The property sits at the end of a beautiful row of classic Edinburgh terraced homes and comes with four to five dedicated parking spaces, which is a huge plus. Inside, the house is beautifully decorated in a stylish Anglo-French-Scottish blend that truly reflects the taste of the owner, Lydie—a French native who’s now a proud long-time resident of Scotland. My room was spacious, thoughtfully furnished with a comfortable, generously sized bed, a cozy sofa, and a small window-side table ideal for two. The ensuite bathroom was perfectly sized, and the shower delivered strong, consistently hot water—just what you need after a long day. The entire home was spotless, down to the smallest detail. From the warm hospitality to the impeccable cleanliness and unique character, I’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Staying at the voco Edinburgh - Haymarket was a perfect balance between city convenience and peaceful retreat. The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from major attractions and a quick subway ride away, yet the rooms are remarkably quiet—thanks to the windows that open slightly and the whisper-quiet air conditioning. Everything in the room felt clean and thoughtfully equipped: tea bags, biscuits, coffee, and even chocolate drinks were available. They even provided slippers in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. The view from the window was stunning, offering a beautiful glimpse of the city skyline. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of options, including boiled eggs, and authentic Scottish specialties that truly stood out. Dinner was equally impressive, so much so that I decided to have a meal there right before heading to the airport. When I had any questions, the front desk staff responded promptly and with great care. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. If I ever return to Edinburgh, I’d absolutely book here again.

Staying at Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket was an absolute pleasure. As a well-known chain, the hotel delivers consistent quality—clean rooms, modern amenities, and friendly staff. The location is unbeatable: just a 10-minute walk to Haymarket Station, making it super easy to hop on the subway for quick access across the city. The airport tram stops right outside the station, so getting to the airport is seamless—just a 15-minute ride with no transfers needed. Plus, major attractions like St. Giles Cathedral and the Royal Mile are all within a 10-minute walk, perfect for exploring on foot. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the hotel, connecting you to key sights without hassle. Whether you're here for sightseeing or business, this hotel offers excellent value, great convenience, and a stress-free stay.

Staying at Tynecastle Park Hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Despite being a bit outside the city center, getting to major attractions like Princes Street is easy—just a 20-minute bus ride away, and buses run frequently. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the excellent value for money; you get a high-quality stay without the premium price tag. Staying at Village Hotel Edinburgh for three nights was an absolute delight. The location is super convenient—just a short metro ride into the city center, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful sleep every night. I especially appreciated the 24-hour fitness center—it's well-equipped and perfect for early morning workouts or late-night sessions. The on-site bar has a cozy, inviting vibe with soft background music, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The common areas are clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. With its great value and excellent amenities, this hotel stands out. Staying at the Leonardo Edinburgh Haymarket was a fantastic experience overall. The room was larger than expected, featuring a comfortable sofa that made it feel more like a home away from home. Cleanliness was excellent—everything looked fresh and well-maintained. The in-room amenities were thoughtful: a capsule coffee machine and a fridge made mornings easy and convenient, especially for that quick caffeine fix. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the train station and within easy reach of major attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and cozy bars nearby, so dinner and drinks are never an issue. The only downside is the cabinet above the tea station—it has a sharp corner that could easily cause injury if you’re not careful. It’s definitely a safety concern, especially when moving around with luggage or in low light. A simple fix like adding a soft edge cover would go a long way. Otherwise, this hotel offers great value and a welcoming atmosphere.

Plus, the Chinese consulate is right across the street, which added a nice touch of pride. Everything about this stay felt convenient, comfortable, and well-located. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Staying at B+B Edinburgh was an absolute delight! While it’s a bit outside the city center, its proximity to Dean Village makes it feel like a hidden gem. The moment you step outside, you’re surrounded by charming streets and peaceful greenery—perfect for a morning stroll. The view from the window is simply breathtaking, especially in the early hours when the sunlight filters through the trees. Inside, the room is beautifully designed with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast was outstanding—rich in local flavors, freshly prepared, and offered a variety of authentic Scottish options. It felt more like a personalized experience than just a meal. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but everything about this place—from the serene location to the attention to detail—justifies the cost. If you're looking for a quiet, stylish retreat with a touch of authenticity, this is absolutely worth it.

The service here was absolutely outstanding—every request was handled with care and no inconvenience was ever an issue. My bridal morning was made even more special when they left a bottle of sparkling wine for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that attention to detail is a top priority. I’d definitely book again if I’m ever back in Edinburgh. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained stay.

Staying at The Raeburn Hotel was such a delightful surprise—I was instantly charmed by the authentic British character of the rooms. My kids were absolutely thrilled, and even though we were close to the street, there was zero noise disturbance thanks to excellent soundproofing. What really stood out was the ground-floor restaurant and bar—cozy, stylish, and full of charm. It’s one of those places you want to tell all your friends about. With only a few rooms, each one is uniquely designed, making every stay feel special. If you're looking for a memorable, well-located, and thoughtfully crafted experience in Edinburgh, this place is a must-book.
