This hotel truly deserves a 5-star rating. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch—spotless rooms, exceptional service at reception, and delicious food. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, so there’s no need to hire a taxi. I especially want to thank the hotel manager for his kindness and prompt assistance when I requested a room change—it made a big difference in my stay. The only minor downside is that some rooms have less desirable views, but aside from that, every aspect of the experience was excellent. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere make this hotel well worth revisiting.
The Halich Hotel Istanbul Karakoy - Special Category
Stayed here twice and couldn’t be happier. The room was spacious with a great layout, and the staff went above and beyond—so friendly and helpful. On my second visit, I was upgraded to a better room and treated to a delicious complimentary dessert that actually tasted better than what you’d find at a local shop! The only minor downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the metro station—about 8 to 10 minutes—but honestly, it’s totally manageable. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and full of charm, with plenty of cafes and local spots nearby. A short ride or a quick taxi gets you anywhere you need to go. Overall, an excellent value and a truly enjoyable stay—I’ll definitely come back.

Located in a prime spot, the hotel is just steps away from both the tram and metro, making it super easy to explore the city without hassle. That said, I noticed the lighting in my room and around the pool area could be improved—it felt a bit dim at times. Also, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was quite weak, which made streaming or video calls a bit frustrating. Still, these minor drawbacks didn’t take away from the overall experience. With its great location, superb amenities, and warm hospitality, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The location is absolutely unbeatable; it's just a short walk to Osmanbey Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Istanbul on foot or via public transit. Breakfast was generous and varied, offering plenty of options to suit different tastes. Plus, Carrefour is literally right around the corner, so grabbing essentials or snacks is a breeze. Clean rooms, friendly service, and great value—all reasons why I’d definitely stay here again.
