Maritim Hotel München

Staying at Maritim Hotel München was an absolute delight, especially for the unbeatable location. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station, bus stops, trams, and subway—making every journey effortless. I walked to the old town and the New Town Hall Square without needing public transit, enjoying the cityscape along the way. While the neighborhood has a slightly rough edge, it's balanced by the presence of other well-known hotels in the area, so we’re all sharing the same environment. There’s a great variety of dining options nearby, with several Middle Eastern restaurants adding a vibrant cultural touch. One little detail that stood out: the hotel provides elegant glass stemware, so if you buy drinks from a local shop, you can enjoy them in your room. The spacious room added to the comfort. Overall, this hotel offers convenience, charm, and a true sense of place—perfect for travelers who value both location and atmosphere.

Boutique Hotel Germania

Staying at Boutique Hotel Germania in Munich was one of the best decisions I made during my trip. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the south exit of Munich Hauptbahnhof, making public transport access seamless whether you're heading into the city or to the airport. The room was spotless, with thoughtful touches like an electric kettle on the desk—perfect for brewing tea or coffee anytime. There were plenty of tea bags and coffee pods available, which added a warm, homey feel. Breakfast was outstanding: a generous spread of fresh breads, sausages, fruits, yogurts, and more—all delicious and well-prepared. But what truly stood out was the front desk staff. A gentleman there went above and beyond when I asked about Geisten HP8 Cultural Center. He not only looked up the location and transit details but also wrote down the exact subway route and station names clearly on paper. That kind of personal care made a big difference. I left feeling genuinely appreciated. This hotel offers comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Munich—and I’ve already recommended it to friends.

AdvaStay by KING's

Staying at AdvaStay by KING'S in Munich was an absolute delight! From the main train station, head in through the entrance opposite McDonald's—once you're up, look for the DM sign and walk straight ahead to the crossroads. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk away. Right beneath the station, there’s a supermarket and several great shops; one little chicken spot nearby serves some of the tastiest roasted chicken I’ve had in Germany—perfect for a quick bite. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Marienplatz on foot, and from there, most major attractions are easily accessible by walking. Check-in is self-service starting at 3 PM—super smooth and hassle-free. The room itself is spacious, with plenty of room for luggage and a clean, well-designed bathroom. The lobby offers complimentary lemon water, and each room comes with two bottles of mineral water—small touches that make a big difference. There’s also a luggage storage locker downstairs. Since we arrived early, we picked up a storage key at the front desk of the adjacent Kings Hotel, which made our day much easier. When it came time to check out, simply slide your key into the box outside the door—no need to go back to the front desk. Super convenient. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, location, and smart service at a great value. Definitely recommend it for travelers exploring Munich!

Hotel Astor

Located just a short walk from the train station, the hotel offers convenient access for travelers arriving by rail. However, the entrance is on a street with ongoing construction, which made walking in a bit inconvenient during our stay. There was some noise, likely due to the ongoing football championship events happening nearby—there were crowds passing by at times. The front desk is open 24/7, and luggage storage is available, plus there’s an elevator for easy access to upper floors. The room itself is spacious and very clean, though lighting could be improved—only recessed spotlights are provided, with no overhead ceiling lamp. That said, the bathroom is fully functional with working fixtures and includes a hairdryer. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a reliable base in Munich, especially if you’re here for business or transit.
