Staying at Palacio de Los Duques Gran Meliá in Madrid was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning—elegant, historic, and full of character. The staff went above and beyond with warm, attentive service that made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and varied, with local touches that really stood out. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, and Retiro Park. Even better, there’s a car rental desk right in the underground garage at Plaza de España—grabbing our rental car took only about 500 meters of walking. Perfect for exploring beyond the city. We also enjoyed a relaxing swim at the rooftop pool, where we unexpectedly met a charming English-speaking guy who spoke Mandarin better than I do—such a fun moment! And the restaurant had a Chinese team member who was friendly, efficient, and made us feel at home. Honestly, if the price fits your budget, this place has absolutely nothing to complain about. A flawless experience—definitely coming back.

This was hands down the most impressive hotel of my entire trip. I stayed for two nights, and on the second day—coincidentally during National Day—the hotel upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The bathroom was spacious with two sinks, and the shower area was fully enclosed with glass—so much safer and more comfortable than the half-closed or bathtub-style setups I’ve seen elsewhere. Location-wise, it’s perfect: close to everything but surprisingly quiet at night, making it ideal for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding—so many options, including warm milk, fresh vegetables, and mushrooms! That last one really stood out—it’s not something you see every day. Also, they provided two 500ml bottles of water daily in the room, whereas other hotels usually only give one on the first day. Small details like this make a big difference. Overall, an excellent stay with fantastic value. I’d definitely come back.

Our room was thoughtfully designed with everything we needed: a mini-fridge, a safe, a brand-new kettle, and most importantly, an Illy coffee machine that made our mornings feel extra special. Honestly, it felt like home away from home, especially after staying at a more basic hotel in Devon, UK. If you're planning a visit to Madrid, this hotel should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend it!

Everything is within easy reach—perfect for exploring Madrid on foot. Whether you're arriving by plane or planning your next adventure, this hotel makes your stay smooth and enjoyable. A fantastic choice for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and quality.

We stayed in a triple room at Inhala Hotel Garden, and while one of the beds was converted from a wardrobe—slightly unconventional—it still worked well for three people. The room is interior-facing and not very spacious, but it’s clean, functional, and perfectly comfortable for a short stay. What really stands out is the location—right next to Gran Vía, Madrid’s famous shopping hub. You’re steps away from boutiques, restaurants, and lively streets. Plus, the Saino Domingo metro station is literally outside the door, giving easy access to Line 2 and the rest of the city. Whether you're here for sightseeing or shopping, this hotel offers excellent value and convenience. For a central, budget-friendly base with great transit links, I’d definitely recommend it.

Even when I forgot my key card late at night, the machine automatically issued a replacement, which was such a relief. Since we were traveling with kids, having a kitchen was a game-changer: we could cook meals and do laundry on-site, which made our extended stay so much more comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed—pots, pans, cutlery, you name it—so the kids could even make their own noodles, which they loved. The room itself is spacious and well-designed, with two bathrooms and a lovely balcony that offered great views of the city. It’s rare to find such a practical yet stylish apartment in Madrid, especially with this level of convenience and comfort. Highly recommend for families or travelers who want independence and home-like ease.

After an early flight, being able to drop off our bags and settle in earlier was such a relief. The location is unbeatable, and the apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It’s a fantastic choice for travelers looking for convenience, charm, and great value—all in one.
