Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay

Staying at Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—just steps behind Times Square, with easy access to MTR stations and all the shopping and dining options you could want. The room was larger than expected for Hong Kong standards, offering plenty of space and a clean, modern design. I appreciated the self-service vending machine for basic toiletries like toothbrushes—super convenient. Breakfast was offered in collaboration with the second-floor restaurant, giving us four different options. I went for the B meal—the beef brisket noodle soup—and it was delicious! Rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles. Service throughout the stay was outstanding. The concierge staff member (a kind gentleman) noticed we were catching the high-speed train out of Hong Kong and kindly reminded us to allow enough time at the border crossing. He even waved goodbye when we checked out—such a thoughtful touch. From comfort to service, everything felt personal and well-executed. This hotel is a hidden gem in Causeway Bay. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Hong Kong.

ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan Hotel

Staying at ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan was a great experience, especially considering the price. For around RMB 700 per night, it's incredibly affordable by Hong Kong standards. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to Sheung Wan MTR station and close to the iconic tram (Ding Ding) stops, making getting around town a breeze. I stayed in Room 1009, which was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. While the facilities might not be as modern as some newer chains like Full Season, the hotel still holds its own in terms of comfort and service. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch that made the stay feel welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, no-frills option with excellent transport links and good value, this is definitely worth considering.

Apartment Kapok

This was my first stay at Apartment Kapok in Hong Kong, and overall it was a great experience. Getting from the airport to Exhibition Centre MTR station was smooth and straightforward—just hop on the train and you're there. The navigation was a bit tricky at first; I thought I had to find a main entrance, but the actual access is through a small door next to Bank of China in Building A of Wanjing Centre. Just exit at Exit B3 of Exhibition Centre Station, cross two streets, and you’re right there. The location couldn’t be more convenient—especially since I needed to renew my child’s documents, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the Consulate General building in China Resources Tower. That made everything so stress-free. The room was spacious and well laid out, offering plenty of room for comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed—nothing overly enthusiastic, but definitely responsive and professional. We stayed on the 7th floor, which didn’t have sea views, but the street-level view was perfectly fine. There are plenty of dining options nearby, though if you’re craving authentic local snacks, you’ll need to cross a skybridge and walk a bit further. On the bright side, there’s a supermarket right downstairs—perfect for grabbing fresh fruit, milk, or even quick breakfasts and lunches. The only downside? Poor sound insulation. I could hear every door slam from the neighboring unit—it was loud enough to make me wince. But considering the excellent location, clean rooms, and overall value, I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel

This was my second visit to YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel, this time with friends on a fun getaway. The room was surprisingly spacious for Hong Kong standards—definitely not cramped at all, which is a big plus in such a compact city. Staff were friendly and helpful, and cleanliness was top-notch throughout the stay. Plus, breakfast was included—such a nice touch to start the day right. On the ground floor, there’s a small museum that gives a fascinating insight into Mei Ho House’s historical significance in Hong Kong’s urban development—perfect for anyone interested in local heritage. A short walk nearby leads to a little hill where you can enjoy a stunning view of Sham Shui Po’s night skyline—so peaceful and photogenic. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for travelers who want comfort, charm, and a bit of culture without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for a memorable stay in Hong Kong.

Weave Studios - Sai Ying Pun(Longstay Apartment)

I stayed here for a week as a solo female traveler, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Even though it feels like a student-focused building, the atmosphere is clean, secure, and well-maintained. The entrance is controlled—only one access point at ground level, with front desk staff present 24/7, and everyone must swipe their card to enter. That gave me real peace of mind, especially traveling alone. The rooms are small but super clean and thoughtfully designed. There’s a shared kitchen area nearby, and a laundry machine that accepts Octopus cards—super convenient. Hot water is always available from the communal water dispensers on each floor. The highlight? The view from the upper floors—it overlooks the sea, which was absolutely stunning in the morning light. Plus, it’s just a 2-minute walk to Sai Ying Pun MTR station, making city exploration effortless. The security guard downstairs was incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile. It felt like home away from home. If I come back to Hong Kong, this will be my first choice again. Great value, great vibe, highly recommend!

Everything you need is nearby: great restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets are all within steps. The room itself was spotless—crisp linens, sparkling bathroom fixtures, and high-quality toiletries made the stay feel luxurious. It’s rare to find such cleanliness and comfort at this price point. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hong Kong. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a home away from home.

E Hotel Hong Kong

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress had just the right balance of firmness—perfect for a restful night's sleep without waking up with back pain. I slept through the night like a baby and woke up feeling refreshed. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even walked me to the elevator when checking out—a small gesture that made a big difference. Right downstairs, there’s a convenience store and several local eateries—ideal for grabbing breakfast, late-night snacks, or quick meals. For the price, the value is outstanding. Clean, convenient, and well-located, this place offers everything you’d want in a city stay. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Hong Kong.

You're surrounded by amazing street food, local markets, convenience stores, and easy access to shopping areas like Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. Public transport is super convenient, whether you're heading to the airport or exploring Hong Kong Island. For such a great location and quality, the value for money is outstanding. Synloc Tower

Staying at Synloc Tower was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, genuine hospitality—always smiling, always ready to help. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right next to the MTR station and surrounded by everything you need, from convenience stores to local eateries. Getting around the city is a breeze. What really stood out was the affordability—this place offers incredible value for such a central spot. I loved the monthly laundry package; it’s affordable, hassle-free, and completely free to use. Plus, the shared kitchen is a game-changer if you’re looking to cook your own meals. It’s clean, well-equipped, and perfect for saving money while enjoying home-cooked comfort. For anyone wanting to live in the heart of the city without breaking the bank, this is hands down a top pick. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. ❤️

Park Line Inn Hostel (Tsim Sha Tsui)

Staying at this boutique-style hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—right next to the MTR station, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions like Harbour City and Victoria Harbour, both just a 10-minute walk away. The staff member who checked me in was friendly, approachable, and spoke fluent English with no noticeable accent—great for communication. I stayed in a newly renovated room, which made all the difference: spotless, well-maintained, and feeling fresh and modern. Everything you’d need is available—clean linens, ample storage, and most importantly, convenient power outlets that work without adapters. The only minor drawback was slight sound transfer between rooms, but honestly, it didn’t ruin the experience. For the comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable convenience, I’d give this place a solid 10 out of 10. Definitely coming back next time I visit Hong Kong.

CHI Residences 314

I stayed at CHI Residences 314, which is more of a serviced apartment than a traditional hotel, so the amenities are different. There’s no 24-hour front desk, and housekeeping isn’t available on weekends—something to keep in mind if you prefer full-service hotel treatment. However, what makes this place stand out is its unbeatable location. Right next to Nathan Road, it’s just a short walk from Jordan MTR Station, making travel around Hong Kong super convenient. The area is packed with restaurants, shops, and street food options—perfect for exploring local life. While there’s no gym or on-site dining, the space feels more like a home away from home, ideal for longer stays or travelers who value privacy and convenience over hotel-style services. It’s not about luxury extras—it’s about smart, practical living in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. For the price and location, the value is excellent, and I’d definitely come back.
