Staying at Orange Hotel Shanghai Bund South Zhongshan Road felt like a quiet retreat tucked away in a residential neighborhood—easy to access, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The room came with a small balcony, which I appreciated even if the current weather isn’t ideal for lingering outside. For someone who loves fresh air, having the window open all night made a big difference in comfort. As always, the signature hospitality shines through—daily fresh oranges at the front desk, a thoughtful touch that makes you feel welcomed. The pillows were incredibly comfortable, and sleep quality was excellent. One minor hiccup: the in-room smart assistant (Duo) responded well to basic commands like turning off lights and TV, but struggled slightly with adjusting curtains and air conditioning. Still, it didn’t ruin the experience. What really stood out was the convenience—easy taxi access right outside, making it simple to get to the Bund, Nanjing Road, or other key spots. With its great location, cozy vibe, and consistent service, this is definitely a place I’d return to without hesitation.

From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and kindness made us feel truly welcomed. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortably furnished—perfect for a relaxing stay after a day exploring the city. The location is unbeatable: stepping out the window, you’re greeted by the vibrant energy of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with its dazzling lights and bustling atmosphere. We visited during New Year’s Day, and the festive vibe added extra magic to the experience. This hotel offers excellent value and convenience in one of Shanghai’s most iconic areas. I’d absolutely choose this property again on any future trip to Shanghai.
