We recently stayed at this MEHOOD LESTIE location in Xiqing while our new home was under renovation, and honestly, the experience exceeded expectations. The owner clearly has a refined taste—every detail in the design feels intentional and high-end. From the moment you step into the lobby, there’s a striking Buddha statue that sets the tone, and I noticed fresh floral arrangements added the next day—such thoughtful touches. The elevator floor features what looks like a Versace-inspired motif, adding a unique flair. The front desk is located on the 23rd floor, with a reception counter crafted from Pandora marble—a real statement of luxury. There's also a flowing tea bar and several well-designed lounging areas with high-quality furniture. While everything is beautifully done, the sheer number of elegant elements together can feel slightly overwhelming—maybe a bit of minimalism could enhance the space even more (just a tiny suggestion 🤏). We were upgraded from a king room to a twin-bed configuration, which actually worked better for us—the layout felt more spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff went out of their way to help pick the best-facing room. The bed was wonderfully soft yet supportive, and the shower delivered consistent water pressure with excellent hot water.
