I had a minor issue when booking the hotel, but when I arrived and checked in, the hotel manager personally stepped in to resolve everything—professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful! The breakfast buffet was fantastic: wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and great quality. There are plenty of dining choices nearby too—great for exploring local flavors. The room itself is spacious, well-designed, and offers beautiful views, especially at night when the city lights sparkle outside. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from public transport links. Overall, an excellent stay with top-tier service and comfort. Definitely my go-to choice for future trips to Nagoya.

A delicious breakfast crafted by the French head chef. Every bite was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. To top it all off, they even wrote a heartfelt 'Happy Birthday' message on the window—such a touching and unexpected gesture that made the whole experience unforgettable. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an emotional journey wrapped in comfort, elegance, and genuine kindness. 10/10 without hesitation.

The hotel is housed within the Nakamura Building, and the basement level offers convenience at your fingertips: FamilyMart, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and a variety of restaurants all within walking distance. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, though the fridge was a bit small if you're planning to stock up on snacks or drinks. One major plus? The bathroom features a smart dry-wet separation design, and the water pressure during showers was excellent—perfect for rinsing off after a long day of exploring. Everything from shopping to dining is just steps away. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a central base in Nagoya, this hotel is absolutely worth considering.
Gold Stay Nagoya OSU
Stayed here from October 28th to 30th, 2025, and had a fantastic experience. The front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese, which made communication super easy—especially helpful for international travelers. They also offered luggage storage, and even promised to bring our bags up once check-in time arrived. That meant we could just walk in directly upon returning in the evening—such a thoughtful touch! We booked the ocean-themed room, which was perfect since we were heading to the aquarium the next day—the vibe matched our trip perfectly. The room itself was well-equipped: induction cooker, fridge, oven, microwave, capsule coffee machine, and even a bathtub. Super convenient for self-catering. Location-wise, it's walking distance to the popular Osu Shopping Street, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby—great for snacks and essentials. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a very comfortable stay. Definitely my go-to choice for future visits to Nagoya!

After returning from Takayama, I stayed at this hotel again and switched to a different room type. The space was still spacious and comfortable, just as impressive as before. The cleanliness, amenities, and overall atmosphere were top-notch. Located right in the heart of Sakae, it’s just a short walk or a quick subway ride away from shopping districts, restaurants, and local attractions. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city. With excellent value for money and a consistently great experience, I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit Nagoya. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a central location.

The shared bathroom had proper partitions and was spotlessly clean—no compromises on hygiene here. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk from Sakae (about 2km), and right next to the bustling Daimaru shopping district. I found the perfect suitcase at 3Coins, and stocked up on skincare and medicines at Don Quijote—such a convenient stop. Bonus: the nearby Sanrin Shrine is charming and peaceful, worth a quick visit. And don’t miss Yabashi Pork Cutlet—arrived around 11 AM, got a table just in time, and when we left, there was already a long line forming. That says it all about its popularity. Overall, this hostel delivers incredible value, comfort, and convenience. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a smart choice for travelers who want quality, location, and a touch of local charm.

Staying at Hotel Keihan Nagoya was a great experience. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, less than a minute past one traffic light. The only minor downside was that breakfast options were a bit basic, but overall, the value for money is excellent.
