Staying at this hotel was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spacious and uniquely decorated with a distinctive Belt and Road theme that added character and charm to the stay. Everything you'd expect was included—both dry and wet slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and more—showing great attention to detail. Staff at the front desk and in-room service were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Hongguang Mountain Scenic Area and the marathon starting point (International Convention and Exhibition Center), making it ideal for both sightseeing and event attendees. On race day, breakfast was served as early as 5:30 AM—extremely thoughtful and well-organized. This level of consideration really sets the hotel apart. If you're visiting Urumqi, especially during events or exploring the city, this is a top-tier choice. Highly recommend!

Lavande Hotel (Urumqi Hongguangshan International Convention and Exhibition Center)

Staying at Lavande Hotel (Urumqi Hongguangshan International Convention and Exhibition Center) was a great experience overall. I couldn’t find the room photos online, but the actual space was spotlessly clean—probably on the 16th or 17th floor, as it was very quiet once the windows were closed, making for peaceful sleep even late at night. The midnight porridge delivery was a real highlight—it was comforting and delicious. The hotel is incredibly close to Liu Guan Yi Xin, so you can catch a stunning sunrise right from your window. Just outside, there’s a cultural plaza (can’t remember the exact name), and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and well-prepared. There’s also a cozy café just downstairs, perfect for a morning coffee. All in all, this place offers fantastic value, with a great location, quiet rooms, and thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend for travelers visiting Urumqi.

The host at this guesthouse is absolutely exceptional—truly one of a kind. I arrived both late at night and early in the morning on separate occasions, and each time I called to ask for entry, the host responded instantly and without hesitation. I actually felt guilty for bothering them, but they made me feel completely at ease. When I wanted to extend my stay, they proactively checked with me and secured the lowest rate possible. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attention to detail. Beyond just a comfortable place to sleep, staying here felt like being welcomed into a warm, personal home. The hospitality, cleanliness, and overall experience are top-notch. This isn’t just a great value—it’s a heartfelt stay from a truly remarkable host.

The room was impressively spacious—nearly 45 square meters—with a clean, modern design that felt both elegant and welcoming. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Hongguang Mountain Nature Park, including the iconic Buddha statue visible from the room. It was peaceful and serene, especially in the morning light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was well-organized with strong water pressure and high-quality amenities. High-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout the stay, and the big-screen TV supported screen mirroring—perfect for streaming movies or catching up on shows. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps away from the Urumqi International Exhibition Center, Six Halls and One Star, and Wuyue Plaza, meaning there are countless dining options and shopping opportunities nearby. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. From check-in to checkout, every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This hotel delivers outstanding value for money—excellent cleanliness, convenience, comfort, and service all in one. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to return.

It’s clear the team genuinely cares about guest experience. From location to comfort to attention to detail, everything was top-notch. Stayed at Universal Hotel Urumqi and was truly impressed from start to finish. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with modern amenities—everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality; every interaction felt warm and genuine. Located right on the main city thoroughfare, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around. Just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find bus stops and a metro station, making travel within the city a breeze. It’s also close to parks, hospitals, a science museum, and a lively food street—perfect for exploring without needing to go far. The airport is just a 20-minute drive away, which is super helpful if you're traveling. The buffet breakfast and dinner were outstanding—huge variety, excellent quality, and fresh ingredients across multiple cuisines. And let’s not forget the indoor pool! If you’re in the mood to relax or work out without leaving the hotel, this is the ideal spot. Overall, an exceptional experience that exceeded expectations. Located right in the heart of Shuimogou District, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience—just a short walk to Nanhu Square and the city museum. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in quick and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding that made for a restful night. Opening the curtains in the morning revealed breathtaking views of snow-capped Bogeda Peak—a true highlight. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and all amenities were well-maintained and up to standard. Breakfast was a real treat: a diverse spread that included fresh seafood dishes from Guangdong cuisine alongside authentic Xinjiang specialties like hand-pulled lamb, all prepared with great care and flavor. The on-site facilities are impressive too—there's a heated indoor pool, a fully equipped gym, and a relaxing spa center, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Whether traveling for leisure or business, this is one of the best choices in Urumqi. I’ll definitely be coming back here next time I visit!
