South Beach Camps Bay Boutique Hotel

Absolutely thrilled with this hotel! The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a breathtaking view of the ocean—just open the window and you're greeted by endless blue. The kitchen came stocked with essentials, making it super convenient for self-catering. Located just across the street from South Beach, you can literally walk to the sand in seconds. The front desk staff were incredibly kind—they helped me book a ride, assisted with payment via credit card when I had no cash, and even carried my luggage down to the car, loading it themselves while the driver never even stepped out. I didn’t expect such thoughtful service from a local ride in South Africa—definitely a standout experience. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and I’ll definitely be back.

Cleanliness is top-notch—every corner of the room and bathroom sparkles. Evenings bring a thoughtful turn-down service, and each time you return to bed, there’s a little surprise waiting on your pillow—such a sweet touch. Access to the property is secured by a simple doorbell system, which adds a real sense of safety. And then there’s Curtley—the gentle, quiet, yet incredibly welcoming host who greets you with genuine kindness and always seems to anticipate your needs. He embodies what great hospitality should be. I especially loved the ambient lighting throughout the property, which created such a calming and inviting mood. The breakfast buffet was fresh, healthy, and varied, with excellent à la carte options too. But what really stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. Camps Bay Villa

We rented this villa for four people at the beginning of May 2025, and we were thoroughly impressed. The spacious ground-floor living area features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and more—everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s also a large terrace with a dining table, chairs, sun loungers, and an additional guest bathroom. Laundry facilities including a washer and dryer (with detergent provided), reliable Wi-Fi, TV, and climate control in every room made life super convenient. Upstairs, two generous bedrooms each come with their own en-suite bathrooms and private balconies—all with AC and heating for year-round comfort. The small pool in the garden and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean turned our stay into something truly special. Watching the sunset each evening was a daily highlight. Located just above Camps Bay, the property offers breathtaking views of both the ocean and Table Mountain. While it’s about a 20-minute walk down to the beach, we mostly used the platform to get around—easy and affordable. Free parking is available right outside the villa. A special thanks to host Trevor: incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, and genuinely attentive. He thoughtfully bought breakfast items based on our preferences, shared great local tips, and even handled housekeeping daily upon request. We had an absolutely fantastic week and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We opted for breakfast each morning, and it was a delightful experience with fresh, local flavors served in a serene setting. From check-in to checkout, the entire stay felt personal and welcoming—more like being at home than staying in a hotel. A truly memorable place, and I’d return in a heartbeat.
