Walking to the garden took only minutes—no need to worry about transportation or timing. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The wooden doors felt a bit off—stiff and hard to open, sometimes requiring force or even a kick to move. One power outlet didn’t work, and some hallways felt dimly lit, giving a slightly eerie vibe. It’s clear that the hotel’s furnishings could use an update. Still, with such a convenient spot and the ease of access to one of Suzhou’s top attractions, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. For travelers prioritizing location over luxury, this place offers excellent value and is highly recommended.
