● "Impression·Liu Sanjie" is a large-scale real-life performance of Guilin's landscape. It has pioneered China's tourism real-life performance and is also the originator of Zhang Yimou's "Impression" series.
● As of March 2024, it has performed more than 8,000 times, received 3 million foreign guests, and received 20 million audiences.
-Performance Introduction-
"Impression Liu Sanjie" is located in Yangshuo County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and was created by four main creative teams: Zhang Yimou, Wang Chaoge, Fan Yue, and Mei Shuaiyuan.
"Impression Liu Sanjie" inherits the legend of Liu Sanjie, the legendary folk singer from Guangxi, but it is not limited to her story alone. Instead, it uses the communication and techniques of traditional Chinese painting to integrate with real mountains and rivers, combined with the unique rhythms and melodies of ethnic minority songs. It blends and presents the cultural essence represented by Liu Sanjie, her life experiences, her beloved folk songs and customs, and especially the beautiful mountains and rivers she revered and cherished, through artistic techniques and poetic arrangement. Even without a continuous storyline or accurate lyrics translation, the charm of the performance transcends national and linguistic boundaries, vividly and representatively showcasing the customs and traditions of the Zhuang, Yao, Miao, and Dong ethnic minorities in Guangxi, as well as the diverse life around the Li River.
