Staying at Western Apartments Nanjing Expo Center with my parents was a fantastic experience. The suite layout offered plenty of space, and even though the guest room was a bit smaller, the overall room design felt spacious and comfortable. The balcony came with a washer and drying rack—perfect for a 3- or 4-day trip, so no need to worry about laundry. The location is unbeatable: right next to a shopping mall, with restaurants and a Starbucks just downstairs. Everything you need is within walking distance. Cleanliness was excellent—everything looked spotless and well-maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming; they even added me on WeChat upon check-in, which made communication super easy and personal. The bath amenities were high quality, though I noticed there wasn’t a moisturizer included—nothing major, since it’s easily available nearby. Breakfast was a set meal—nutritious and satisfying, though adding more fresh vegetables would have been a nice upgrade. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and convenience. Nanjing Grand Hotel

Staying at Nanjing Grand Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. Though it's a well-established five-star property, the rooms feel fresh and timeless—elegant without being flashy, perfectly reflecting the city’s refined character. The room itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed, from plush bedding to modern amenities. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member—from check-in to housekeeping to breakfast attendants—was warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive: diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious. It’s rare to find such consistent quality across all aspects of a stay. If I’m ever back in Nanjing, this will be my first choice again. A truly memorable experience.

Shangri-La Nanjing

Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.
