I rarely leave a five-star review for any hotel, but this one truly deserves it. The parking is excellent—plenty of space, which is a huge plus for travelers driving in. The staff went above and beyond with their service; they were warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful in every interaction. There’s a real sense of humanity and care that you don’t often find in hotels today. From check-in to check-out, the experience felt personal and welcoming. Clean, well-maintained rooms, great location, and fantastic value—all wrapped up in a place that feels like home. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Nanjing.

I also appreciated having access to an on-site laundry room, which came in handy during my longer stay. Breakfast was a highlight—wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and good quality across the board. That said, the property does show its age in some areas: the wallpaper has minor cracks, and certain facilities feel outdated. Parking is another challenge—there’s very limited space, mostly along the side of the bank next to the hotel entrance, which makes finding a spot tricky. Still, despite these small drawbacks, the location is excellent for travelers relying on the subway, and the value for money is strong. If you're looking for a convenient, reliable base in Nanjing with great service, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with fresh welcome fruits and the signature afternoon tea, both of which were delightful. Even better, the hotel included complimentary tickets to the nearby Six Dynasties Museum—a thoughtful touch that made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—central, walkable to major attractions, and just a short metro ride from everything. My stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
