I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness; every surface felt fresh and well-maintained, down to the smallest details. It’s rare to find such attention to hygiene in a city apartment, and it really adds to the overall experience. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, making it super easy to explore Gangnam District. I keep coming back to this place whenever I travel solo to Seoul! It’s a bit of a walk uphill from Gangnam Station and tucked away in a little alley, but totally worth it. The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful—every single time! The bathroom is spotless, like a high-end hotel, and the whole room feels so clean and fresh—almost too good to be true! Honestly, if I’m in Seoul, this is my absolute favorite stay. Great value, quiet location, and such a cozy vibe. One visit and you’ll want to come back again and again!

Staying at Hotel Blanc in Gangnam (Yeoksam) was a great experience overall. The booking process was smooth, and the hotel sent a prompt confirmation email after reservation—very professional. All amenities were well-maintained and included essentials like a mini-fridge and coffee maker. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, which I appreciated as someone who prefers minimal interaction. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from both subway and bus stops, making it easy to explore nearby shopping areas and restaurants. One downside: the room’s soundproofing isn’t ideal, so if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be best for a one-night stay. Also, no elevator, so travelers with large luggage should plan accordingly. Despite that, the value for money is strong, and I’d definitely recommend this place for a comfortable, no-fuss urban stay.
Starhostel Dongdaemun Suite
I’ve stayed here before and really liked it, so I came back again. The location is fantastic—Dongdaemun Market is just a short walk away, making shopping and dining super convenient. They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after checkout, which is super helpful. The room is slightly smaller than an Toyoko Inn but perfect for just sleeping—no issues at all. It comes with a TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, mini-fridge, tissues, two towels, shampoo, and body soap. The bathroom and shower are shared, and the water pressure is a bit weak, but still manageable. They also provide laundry service for around 7,000 KRW. Breakfast is available too, and there’s a convenience store nearby—very handy. Most importantly, the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed at Princess Hotel in Seoul last month for a concert, and it was an excellent experience overall. The owner was very friendly during check-in, and the front desk staff even spoke fluent Chinese—super helpful for non-Korean speakers. Located in a quiet residential area, the neighborhood feels safe and peaceful—no strange people around at night. The only minor downside is that there’s no outlet in the bathroom and the window can’t be opened, so I had to blow-dry my hair in the room. But honestly, these small issues don’t take away from how satisfied I was. Daily housekeeping kept everything clean and fresh. Great value, great location, and a really welcoming vibe—I’d definitely come back.

This was my first time visiting Seoul for a concert, and staying at Sarang Guesthouse Dongdaemun turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. The location is perfect: literally steps away from the subway station, making it super easy to get to the concert venue in under 30 minutes. Right outside the guesthouse, there’s a GS25 convenience store, and other chains like 7-Eleven and CU are just a short walk away—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. With its unbeatable location, clean rooms, and welcoming atmosphere, this place is ideal for travelers attending concerts or exploring the city on a budget. I’d absolutely stay here again if I come back to Seoul. Highly recommended!
Global Inn Dongdaemun Citydays Inn
Staying at Global Inn Dongdaemun Citydays Inn was a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from Line 1 subway, making it super easy to head straight to Incheon Airport. Even though the room is on the smaller side, it’s clean, quiet, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated being able to store my luggage securely, which made my travel plans much more flexible. The neighborhood is lively with plenty of local eateries and convenience stores nearby. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value and comfort—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Seoul and want a no-fuss, practical stay.

The hotel is excellent overall—great location, super convenient for getting around Seoul, and the staff are very friendly. My only confusion was that I booked a two-night stay, but I had to check out on the second day and couldn’t recheck in until after 6 PM. That timing restriction felt a bit odd and wasn’t clearly explained upfront. Still, the team handled it well, and even though I had to move my luggage, it didn’t ruin the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the value for money was strong. Definitely would stay here again.

Just a 1-minute walk from Exit 8 of Dongdaemun History & Cultural Park, this hotel is perfect for shopping and exploring the area. The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained, giving a very welcoming vibe. The bathtub was spacious and so relaxing—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul. Great value and comfort in one!
