Busan Guest House Urban
My stay at Busan Guest House Urban was absolutely wonderful! The host greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel right at home. The room was cozy and quiet—perfect for a good night's sleep. I especially loved the shared lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen, which made preparing meals super convenient. The location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions like Haeundae Beach and Bukchon Village, and public transportation is just steps away. I’d happily return and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Busan.
Hound Hotel Gwangan
I chose this hotel mainly for the view, but unfortunately I ended up with a room that didn’t have a beach view. The room had a huge window, but it faced a wall instead of the ocean—very disappointing. I reached out to the front desk, and they explained they were fully booked and couldn’t upgrade or switch rooms. Still, the Korean staff member at the front desk was incredibly friendly and made an effort to communicate in English despite the language barrier. I arrived at 11 a.m., but check-in wasn’t available until 3 p.m., so I had to wait. While that’s a bit inconvenient, their polite attitude made the wait more bearable. Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient—just a short walk from Gwangalli Beach, even though it’s not directly on the waterfront. The nearby subway station makes getting around easy, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and things to do in the area. I also appreciated the rooftop terrace on the 10th floor, which offers a much better view and great photo opportunities. The room itself is spacious and spotlessly clean. The only downside is that sunlight doesn’t reach the room due to the wall blocking the large window. Still, considering the location, service, and overall value, I’d definitely recommend this place for travelers who prioritize convenience and comfort over a sea view.

I stayed at Canvas Hostel Black in Busan and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality. My room was cozy with a soft bed, ambient lighting, and all the essentials working perfectly—TV, AC, shower, you name it. I slept like a baby, though not entirely uninterrupted. Around midnight, I heard a faint tapping from behind the wall, almost like someone gently knocking. At first, I thought it was the pipes, but then I caught a whisper—just a soft, barely audible 'hello.' It wasn’t creepy at all; more like a quiet greeting from an old friend. I even said goodnight back, and I swear I felt a whisper in reply. There’s something magical about staying somewhere that feels lived-in, layered with stories. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located stay with a touch of mystery and soul, this place is absolutely perfect. Great value, great vibe, and a ghost who seems to really enjoy the quiet life.

Staying at Hotel Intro in Busan was an absolutely delightful experience. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—when we asked for fried chicken, they patiently explained the different options and recommended portion sizes based on our preferences. They even assisted us with arranging a taxi to another area, which was super convenient. The room itself was spacious and immaculately clean, with a bathroom that felt like a luxury retreat—complete with both a bathtub and a separate shower area. The only minor downside was the lack of a door at the outer edge of the bathroom; there was only a partition between the wet zone and the toilet area, and the toilet area had a slight odor in the morning. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall excellent stay. There’s a convenience store nearby for essentials, and while it’s a bit of a walk from Haeundae’s bustling area, public transport makes getting there easy. For comfort, service, and value, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
