I visited Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul purely for a solo staycation, and it absolutely delivered. Sitting by the bathroom window, staring at the endless traffic jam outside, while enjoying my own quiet time—such a simple but powerful form of therapy. The indoor pool is massive and incredibly relaxing, especially when you can see the Namsan Tower in the distance. It really helped release all the tension I’d been carrying. The room itself is elegant without being overbearing—clean, well-maintained, and spotless. The sofa and bed were both comfortable, and the mattress was so plush, I felt like I was being hugged the second I lay down. The bedding was soft and cozy, leading to one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bathroom? Impeccable—crisp, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast came around 9:30 AM, so there was a short wait, but I actually preferred it this way—no noisy buffet crowds, no distractions, just a peaceful start to the day. I ordered natto with abalone, followed by sea urchin egg custard and fresh fruit—simple yet delicious, perfect for a light morning meal. I didn’t get to enjoy the famous pool this time (a bit disappointing), but I’m already planning my next visit. We’re both light sleepers, so we intentionally booked a two-bedroom suite for this trip—and it was absolutely the right choice. The rooms were spacious, incredibly clean, and so quiet that we slept like babies. The front desk staff went above and beyond—they helped us call a taxi and even gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. It made our stay stress-free and super enjoyable. The room itself is generously sized, with excellent water pressure and instant hot water—perfect for a relaxing shower. The bathtub even came with bath salts, which made soaking in the evening so enjoyable. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right next to the subway station, with airport buses stopping just outside, and a five-minute walk to Myeongdong.
