All’Angelo Art Hotel
Absolutely loved our stay at this charming little gem! The location is perfect—just a short walk from major sights and right in the heart of Venice’s charm. Even though the rooms are compact, they’re thoughtfully designed with a cozy, artistic touch that makes the space feel warm and inviting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Pesaro Palace
Staying at Pesaro Palace was an absolute delight—right next to the Ca' D'Oro water bus stop, which made getting around Venice incredibly easy. Our family of four (two teenagers) booked two rooms, both of which offered stunning canal views and were spacious and comfortable. While a few minor details like fixtures or locks needed attention, nothing disrupted our stay. We loved walking everywhere—most attractions were within a 10-15 minute stroll—and we only used the water bus occasionally for longer trips. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh, abundant, and full of local flavors. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I’d highly recommend this hotel to any traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and authentic Venetian charm.

Staying at NH Venezia Santa Lucia was an absolute delight. The hotel is literally steps from the train station, making arrival and departure incredibly convenient—perfect for exploring Venice on a tight schedule. Our room offered stunning views of the Grand Canal, and waking up to that sight every morning made the trip even more special. The room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials. To our surprise and joy, we were upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost—such a nice touch! Staying at Michelle in Venice Charming Houses was an absolute delight. The apartment is beautifully designed with a charming, authentic Venetian touch—every corner feels like a little piece of the city’s soul. The bed is incredibly comfortable; I honestly didn’t want to leave it. Located in a quiet part of Venice, it's still just a short walk to Piazza San Marco and all the major attractions—perfect balance between peace and convenience. Michele, the landlord, was incredibly helpful and always available whenever I needed something. His responsiveness and warm hospitality made the whole experience even better. If you're planning a trip to Venice, this is definitely the place to stay. Highly recommend!
Fenice Backstage over Canal
We had a great stay at this charming little hotel in Venice. The staff, especially Simon, were incredibly helpful and friendly—Simon even carried our luggage up the stairs without hesitation, which was such a nice gesture. While there’s no elevator, it didn’t feel like a hassle thanks to the warm hospitality. The room was clean, cozy, and had that authentic Venetian charm. Being right by the canal made for a peaceful morning view and easy access to nearby sights. Overall, a lovely experience with excellent value. Definitely recommend for travelers looking for something quiet yet central.
Accademia Opera Deluxe by Wonderful Italy
Located on a small island, the apartment requires crossing several bridges just to get off the premises—something to keep in mind. It’s situated at the top of two full flights of stairs, and the entrance door has no lock, which raised some safety concerns. Since it's one of many units nearby, we were startled one evening when someone unexpectedly entered the space—we had no idea they were there. Adding a proper lock would have made a big difference. The furniture isn’t very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing, and the interior is quite dark with no private outdoor seating area. We ended up sitting on the square outside a few nights, which was cool and pleasant. There are two excellent waterfront restaurants just behind the building, and a small café around the corner that served great gelato and cappuccino. While it’s a 20-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square over multiple bridges, you’re conveniently close to the Accademia and Zattere water bus stops for easy public transport access. The apartment itself is spacious with four bedrooms and three bathrooms—perfect for larger groups. However, considering the price and amenities, we’d rate it as average. In fact, we probably would’ve been better off staying at the hotel across the street, which offered more reliable trash collection and greater convenience. You need to take your own garbage to a bin located just a 3-minute walk away—but it’s not always there. You’re expected to do this between 6:30 and 8:30 AM during your vacation, which adds unnecessary stress. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re traveling with a group, but the lack of security, comfort, and convenience brings the experience down. Not worth the price compared to nearby alternatives.
Al Bailo di Venezia
We stayed here with our family, and overall, the experience was excellent. The hotel is incredibly clean, safe, and every little detail shows thoughtfulness—really made us feel at home. One small suggestion: the AC vent in the room was dusty, so cleaning it or replacing the filter would be a great improvement. Also, since we had elderly guests with us, it would be helpful if guest services were more accessible—having to walk around to check in was a bit challenging. Despite that, the location is fantastic, close to everything, and public transport makes getting around Venice super easy. We truly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and security. Definitely a place we’d recommend and return to.
