I finally got around to writing this review after returning from Seoul—my first visit to the city, and I’m so glad I stayed at Let’s Stay Hostel! The price was super reasonable for what you get, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is fantastic—right next to a convenience store, just a short walk to the subway station, and surrounded by great local eateries. I ended up going back to one of the nearby BBQ restaurants twice because it was that good—authentic flavor and generous portions. The dorm room was for two people: not huge, but perfectly sized and cozy. We were responsible for changing our own towels and taking out the trash, which might sound like a small thing, but it actually added to the homely, self-sufficient vibe. It felt more personal than staying in a big hotel. Overall, this place offered comfort, convenience, and charm at a great value. If I ever come back to Seoul, this will definitely be my go-to choice. Highly recommended!

Staying at HAN River Residence & Guesthouse felt like coming home—warm, welcoming, and full of genuine hospitality. My studio room was surprisingly spacious for the price, well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s rare to find such a cozy yet practical space in Seoul, especially at this level of comfort and value. I truly felt relaxed and at ease throughout my visit. I’ll definitely be back—the moment I’m in Seoul again, this is where I’ll choose to stay.

The YH Guesthouse is an excellent choice overall—clean, well-located, and very good value for the price. I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. However, there was one issue that caused some confusion: the check-in code provided through the booking platform didn’t match the one used at the guesthouse. This led to a 20-minute wait at the self-check-in kiosk with no staff around, which was frustrating on arrival day. It would be great if the system could be synchronized between the platform and the property to avoid such mix-ups. Despite this hiccup, the experience was still highly positive, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Traveling with my family, we had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was surprisingly large—definitely more than expected for the price. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the overall comfort level stood out compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in before. The only thing to note is the location—it’s right in between two subway stations (Daejeon Station and Sinchon Station), so it takes about 5–7 minutes to walk to either one. That said, the area is quiet and safe, with plenty of local restaurants nearby. If you’re okay with a short walk to transit, this place offers excellent value and a relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for families or travelers looking for a peaceful base in Seoul.

I really can't recommend this place. I tried to book online, and suddenly the owner told me to 'find another hostel' out of nowhere—then completely disappeared. I sent multiple messages asking for clarification, but got no response at all. It was incredibly strange and disrespectful. My entire experience was terrible from start to finish. The lack of communication and professionalism made it a very negative stay. Definitely not worth considering if you're looking for a reliable and welcoming place to stay.
Fairmont Ambassador Seoul
The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.

I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the space was spotless, meticulously cleaned daily with no traces of grime or water stains. The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way—cleanliness, service, value, and atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
